I shaved my head
I’m a 36 old Caucasian woman, I’m not a Buddhist monk, I’m perfectly healthy (as far as I know) and yes - I shaved my head. Why - because I want to start my life from scratch. I quit my job as an event manager a few months ago for personal and moral reasons, and while I visualize what I hope to be my dream future job, I am getting rid of all the emotional garbage that I have been carrying around for a whole lot of years. On the whole, it is a great relief shaving your head completely, i can say it also feels liberating in the sense that you see and accept yourself in a way that it is not commonly recognized as beautiful or proper. Anyways, it feels right for me now, at this moment, in this period of my life, when I am waiting for my next vocation. Which has to be a great one, nothing less this time :)
