Well, if it’s a healthy dinner you have nothing to worry about.
I had a burger, that's super healthy right?
Just dont go to bed right away.
Food always makes you sleepy though. Or is that just me?
Exactly, I don’t know either. More unrealistic expectations from society.
First society tries to keep us down, and now my stomach! Is nothing saintly anymore?
Nah, but people say that we’re not supposed to eat past five o’clock at night, and I don’t think that’s ever gonna happen.
How is my stomach supposed to know what time it is though? It's always night time for it.
Eating dinner at midnight can't be healthy, right?

Words We Didn't Say II Becklian
To say Beck wasn’t exhausted would be a lie. From the beginning of the month until only a few days ago, it had been nothing but non-stop go, go, go. With the bookstore opening, Lillian giving up her dreams and moving in with him, and father’s day just a few days ago, Beck hadn’t had any downtime. So he had done what any typical bookshop owner would do on a typical Wednesday afternoon, he closed down shop early. Lily had gone off to run errands- something about groceries or more duck food or something- and so closing, well, it wasn’t too hard to do, especially once the last customer left.
The walk home wasn’t bad, although typically, he enjoyed it much more when he had Lillian by his side. When he walked through the front door of his complex, he waved a short hello to the doorman and proceeded to head upstairs, when he was suddenly stopped with a hand to the shoulder. Beck turned around with a smile and tried not to show an exhausted, irritated expression, especially to someone as nice as him. He raised an eyebrow- a type of silent communication with the man- and waited for him to go on with what he was going to say. “Mr. Frayn? I just thought I’d let you know that your father was here yesterday,” Beck paused and grew tense, this could not be happening. He motioned for the man to proceed, “He ran into Lillian and I’m- well, I’m wondering if shes told you about it yet? I’m curious to see what your father had to say.” Beckett shook his head no, that he hadn’t been told, but gave a thumbsup in order to say thank you for the information. Oh fuck no. He waved goodbye and headed back towards the elevator, punched the button with an irritated force, and proceeded back to his apartment.
When Lillian got home later that evening, Beck had already settled into the couch for the evening. With a book in hand and a oddly silent duck at his feet, Beck didn’t act to move when she walked through the door. He gave her a smile and returned the kiss she pressed to his lips, but didn’t say hello and continued to wait until she’d join him on the couch in just a few minutes. It was kinda their ritual, really. Just as he knew, only a few moments later, she was sitting next to him, curled up under his arm only after scooping Peck up and placing him on Beck’s lap, her fingers running across his soft feathers. “So, the doorman told me something kinda funny today,” Beck cleared his throat and pressed his lips to Lily’s temple, “Said you ran into someone the other day- someone that I know- someone that I refuse to think about. Care to enlighten me on how that played out?” Beck tried hard to keep his annoyance out of his tone, but it proved difficult.

Nothing’s wrong with that, but most people who know how a movie is going to end still want to see it.
I'm good with reading the wiki and avoiding it. Save myself some cash and tissues. You don't come across as the sobbing type.
Alright Satan, simmer down. We’re going to see it so that I can prove to you that you should read the book. Because, you know, you like fighting with me on that. I’ll promise not to cry too hard. Although, holding back all my tears might make me snotty.
Heh, it's hard not to tease you. I don't have time to read, I'm too busy telling people what they should be reading. Making you money and whatnot. I like fighting with you, gets you all fired up. I'll be sure to pack you some tissues. Ewww gross.
What movie is it?
The Fault in Our Stars or something like that? All my friends have been trying to drag me to see it.
I mean, really, there’s nothing wrong with it, but surely you’re just out of your mind for not wanting to. I’ll go see it alone if I’ve got to. That way you can’t make fun of me when I cry.
Ohh, are you going to cry? Then I might just watch you and ignore the movie. Even though that might make me even more sad to see you cry.
What's so wrong about not wanting to see a movie I know is going to make me cry my eyes out?
