Good Morning San Antonio!
We're all awake this morning. The breakfast at the hotel was surprisingly tasty. We got a couple of games in by the pool and packing up to head to day 1 of GP San Antonio! Mini Masters at 11am then once we all fail outta that, we think we're gonna hit up an escape room.
We finally made it! Checked into the hotel, showered, and most of all survived the 36 hours in the car!
Be prepared
It only took us about 7 hours into our road trip until the Disney singalong started happening.
Cleaning out my Car
Finally finished cleaning out the whip for the trip. 4 fat guys in a Prius for 36 hours should smell great! Ok, 3 fat guys and a guy who gets car sick. This I going to go well.
I don’t know why I feel the need to document this trip, but I feel it’s a special one. My name’s Nate and I’m a Modern Guy. OK. Let me explain. Do you remember that game Magic: The Gathering? The nerdy kids in your high school probably used to play in the cafe during lunch period. (or maybe they still do) I was one of those kids, now I’m all grown up and driving half way across the country to play in a tournament. I’ve never done anything like this before. I got a car full of my friends, 30 hours of driving, and figured why not blog about it?
