Syd had emergency surgery today. Handled it like a fucking champ. I’ll be staying home to take care of her instead of going to Ferguson tonight. She’s out of surgery and doing fine, thank goodness.

Michael actually seemed like he was OK with going in my place tonight when I talked to him earlier from the waiting room. He was starting to come around to the belief that what we do can really help and I think that’s helping to bolster his confidence. Thank you for all the messages of support. Seriously, guys.
