September 1st 2015 - Day 158

Today was my last first day of high school as I am now officially a 12th grader. It was nice to see everyone again but for the first time, I really was not ready to go back to school. I know my summer was shorter because of summer school so that might have an effect on it but I just really wish I didn’t have to go back to projects and stress in all my classes. Our first theatre class was already very stressful so that wasn’t very fun. Hopefully this feeling will go away quickly because I really need to do well this year if I want to get into the university of my choice!

August 31st 2015 - Day 157

It’s the last day before school starts. I met up with my friend and we talked about the fact that we’re going into our last year of high school and such. It was a good last day before I have to go back to hell for one last time (before university, that is)

August 30th 2015 - Day 156

Today my boyfriend came over to my place and we watched a few episodes of Chuck before going out to meet friends. We bused over and got there very early so we went for a lovely evening walk and got to talk for a bit before going to the pho restaurant. We were luckily not the last ones to arrive as one person got there about 20 minutes later. I finally got to see a friend I hadn’t seen since grade 7 again which was absolutely wonderful. (So we were three couples and one friend. There was me and my boyfriend, my boyfriend’s best friend and his girlfriend who has been my friend since age 4, her best friend, and my 7th grade friend and her new boyfriend) We had pho and caught up. Then we went to bubble tea where I got to know my 7th grade friend’s boyfriend. Turns out he’s also a dancer and we bonded over a ton of mutual interests. He also hit it off with my boyfriend. They just could not stop talking to each other, it was quite funny and while they were talking, me and my 7th grade friend caught up and joked around for quite a bit. We spent a bit of time in a park at midnight where we all played around as if we were 5 again before having to go our separate ways. Overall, it was one of the best days of summer and I’m so glad I got to have a bit more fun before having to go back to school in a few days.

August 29th 2015 - Day 155

Today wasn’t overly exciting. I went over to my grandparents place and talked and ate. That’s pretty much it to be completely honest.

August 28th 2015 - Day 154

Today I met up with my mom for lunch at a diner themed restaurant in the market downtown. We then went shopping and I got a ton of new clothes that I am very excited to wear. Unfortunately, as I was going to bed (I’m writing this like way in the future) my stomach did not react well to what I had eaten and I had to take multiple stops to the washroom, and that wasn’t all. I ended up getting a horrible pain in my entire upper body that felt like a really intense heart burn that wouldn’t go away. It hurt so much I was wishing I was dead. Luckily, I managed to fall asleep, but only after a few hours of moaning from the pain.

August 27th 2015 - Day 153

Today my boyfriend took me out to lunch at a fancy restaurant that our friend is currently working at. It was really lovely to have such a fancy meal with him and to see our friend! After eating the wonderful food, we went for a walk and got to talk for a bit. It was unfortunately not for too long however, as he had to go home to get ready for work which for this week was from 4 to 6. It was nice to see him though because soon we will only have that opportunity once a week, which isn’t the worst thing in the world, but it can be hard sometimes.

August 26th 2015 - Day 152

Today my friend and I were supposed to meet again for more play searching but we both just didn’t message each other, with a tacit agreement that we were just too lazy to go out. However, I did still go out and I actually ended up looking really pretty. See, I was going to meet my friend at David’s Tea once again for the autumn launch, but my hair was kind of messy and dirty and I didn’t have time to wash it. So instead of throwing it into a pony tail, I fashioned a fish tail braid to the right side and added some really cool bangs making it look really awesome. Then I put on eyeliner and lipstick so I looked really done up, it made me feel good and confident. I met up with my friend and she complimented me, then we got our tea and I talked with the manager a bit to make sure I hadn’t missed my chance at an interview. She took down both our names and numbers (because my friend is applying too) and told us she would make sure we would get interviews so I’m very happy about that. Afterwards, we did a bit of window shopping before going our separate ways. I must say that the pumpkin chai tea is delicious! It’s quickly climbed its way up to one of my favourites.

August 25th 2015 - Day 151

Today I went to pay for school and for the theatre program at my school, making me run into everyone I was happy to be away from (jk jk, I love them but I don’t want to say goodbye to my summer). One good thing that came from it was seeing my friend who had gone back to her country for the summer not knowing whether she was coming back to Canada or not. She completely surprised me and it made me extremely happy to be able to see her after not having been able to say goodbye to her before she left. After having paid, my friend and I went to one of the university’s library to find some plays. She grabbed three and I, only one as I already have a few at home. Then, as always, we went to get food. I brought her to the vegan place where she fell in love and we’re already planning to go back on the first day of school next week. Afterwards. we went back to school so she could pay her fees with her dad, which was then followed by us going to the market and buying cupcakes for ourselves and our moms. I then left her and met up with another friend after her summer school class, where we went to David’s tea and talked with some workers before tomorrow’s launch of the autumn collection which I’m suuuuper excited about!!! It was a pretty busy day and I’m glad I got to go out with people and get my mind off things for a bit.

August 24th 2015 - Day 150

Today I was supposed to meet up with my friend and go play hunting for theatre but we got too lazy and decided to do it tomorrow instead after signing up for school and paying the things we have to pay. So I ended up watching friends all day which, to me, was pretty damn productive XD

August 23rd 2015 - Day 149

Today wasn’t very eventful but my boyfriend did tell me that his friend works at Garage and can give me tips if I get an interview there! So that was very nice of him!

August 22nd 2015 - Day 148

Today I got to see my boyfriend which was something I really really needed. He's such a supportive guy and made me feel much better after yesterday's results. I love him so much and am so lucky to be with him.

August 21st 2015 - Day 147

Today was my first job interview ever and it went super well! After the interview they told me that I'd get a call tonight finding out if I got the job. After the interview I did some browsing and bought some tea to treat myself then headed to meet my mom at my family friend's house to catch up with them before going off for an extended family dinner where I got to talk to my cousin about university applications as that is what I will be focusing on this coming year. Unfortunately, I never got a call and I'm pretty bummed. It's very disappointing doing so well yet getting bad results. I really need a job!!! They did keep my application for a seasonal position though so, although it's not a permanent position, at least it's experience if they hire me for that. Anyways, here's hoping I'll get my opportunity to shine soon. I'm getting desperate.

August 20th 2015 - Day 146

Today was (finally) my last day of drivers ed! Overall our teacher was actually pretty cool. He gave a lot of good tips that I don't think many teachers would remember and he made sure everyone passed the written test (which we did!!). I'm very glad it's over though because now I never have to take that class again!!!

August 19th 2015 - Day 145

Today my friends and I started writing down weird quotes that our teacher said. It's actually quite entertaining because you have to constantly be listening to find good things to write down meaning we're actually listening while not being as bored. However we are all doodling like crazy because things get slow very fast.

August 18th 2015 - Day 144

Today was day 2 of drivers ed and it's not any more fun. The stories our teacher tells us are getting even more strange but at least we're getting a laugh out of it. 2 more days to go!

August 17th 2015 - Day 143

Today I started my drivers ed course which was interesting.... Interesting in a weird way. My teacher is really boring but also really random and not only complains about young drivers but tells us very strange stories. The videos were absolutely hilarious and so badly made but oh god I do not know how I'm going to go through three more days of this stuff. It was nice to see my friend again though and even make new friends with whom I will be sharing this miserable experience.

August 16th 2015 - Day 142

Today I saw my grandparents for the first time since celebrating my birthday and we had a nice dinner. It wasn't a particularly eventful day.
