The novel 11.22.63 is something I can only call phenomenal. A little about it. Jake Epping, a high school English teacher in Lisbon Falls, Maine. While grading essays by his GED students, Jake reads a gruesome, enthralling piece penned by janitor Harry Dunning: fifty years ago, Harry somehow survived his father’s sledgehammer slaughter of his entire family. A Little book Called Grete

I was told about this book from a good friend of mine she told me if I was to read this I would love the work of Christopher Coleman. She was right, the books she told me about is called Grete

 It is a dark and twisted tale that examines the deepest, darkest and most evil parts of the human psyche. I think the cover of OK. The blueish colors draws the eye and urges them to look at the book. The twisted trees give off a creepy and scary vibe and, the font used for the title adds a touch of mystery as does the light coming from the group. As you can probably guess by the title, this book is an updated, modern day version of the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel. However, it definitely strays from the storyline that most people know. This is good, otherwise this book would not be very interesting at all. As you might expect, this dark and twisted tale features the  brother and sister pair of Hansel and Gretel. But, the character names as well  as the fact that a witch lives in a nearby forest are the only real

similarities to the original fairy tale. This story is a thousand times better and also a thousand times more twisted. Anika Morgan had gone to visit her elderly father for a ten day trip and was happy to be heading home to her own life and to her children. Anika's life revolved around her husband, Heinrich, her fourteen year old daughter, Gretel and her eight year old son, Hansel and she was content with the way her life was playing out. Their life was not one of opulence or of abundance, but they were happy. They had their small house and they had some land to call their own and Anika knew that they were more fortunate than many others who lived in the Backwoods. But, Anika never made it home from her father's house - a trip that should have only taken a few hours turned into the most grueling, horrific and long time of her life. Gretel wanted to have faith that her mother would be found one day, but as time wore on, it became harder and harder to stay optimistic. Add to that, the fact that her father had fallen ill and you get the eerie sense that something bad is about to happen. This modern take on an old classic is extremely well written and readers will be riveted. Christopher Coleman does a fabulous job of creating characters that are so realistic that the reader will become invested in their trials and tribulations and will not be able to put the book down needing to know what happens next.

When you know your making the wrong choice

Have you ever felt like your making all the wrong choses? Like it doesn’t matter what move you make or what your attentions are it never works out. That’s what I have been dealing with for like last few months. I don’t really know how it started, if I’m being real I do. This girl I was. I mean still am in love with found a new man. I was never dating her but to me it felt like we were. So when she told me she was dating a guy I lost my shit. And that was the start. After that day I started down this path I’m on, the first thing I did I want to take back was fucking with this girl, she reminded me of (let’s call her Kate) Kate the girl I’m in love with in so many ways, there past how they act how they talk, it was as if they were the same person. So I did the wrong thing I let her get close hopping something would happen and something did, I used but I knew it was going on I just didn’t stop it. I was giving Kate everything. In the end I got hurt the same way Kate hurt me. The next chose was worse yet. See I am the kind of person who thinks about what I want and when I find it I do what I can to take it even when it means being unhappy. I want back to Kate. And nothing had changed but me, the first time I was fucking with her I was a little puppy doing anything to make her happy even giving my last to her all the time, but this time I was an asshole with will come to no surprise to the people who know me. But it did to her. I felt like she liked me more this way. Then something happened I let myself once more fall back in love and that’s when all the old things starting coming back the felling like I’m being used and like she is inbberest to be seen with me. Every time I would see Kate it would end in a fight and me felling like I had fucked up when I did nothing wrong it was her. But this time I cut her off in rage, it didn’t last long not even three days. But I did move on a little. I moved back to the girl who reminds me of Kate. See they both have had their run-ins with drugs one’s in the past one’s on them now. Don’t get me wrong I like my pills as much as the next guy but (Lets call her Jen the one who reminds me of Kate) Jen fucks with the hard shit. I never seen her use she would just tell me about then one day she asked me if I would take her to go get some, I told her yes. With brings me to the one thing I did I wish I can take back, I took her drug it was such a rush I felt like I was able to do anything! Fuck any girl fight any man get hit by a car and walk away like nothing had happened. After that first time I was hooked. I knew if Kate ever found out she would hate me. This was her drug to, which is why I took it. The next day Jen told me she wished I had told her no when she asked me to take it, trying to make her feel better I told her I had done it before and wasn’t trying to get back on it I just needed to feel good. Witch was a lie I had never done anything harder than some pills at this time. But I knew I was going to keep going with it and I did. In a matter of weeks, I went throw all the money I had. I have always worked to jobs which means I always had some kind of money. By the time me and Jen stopped talking I had lost one of my jobs and using all the money I had for the drug. The one good thing that came out of it was I meant a new girl, she was nothing like Kate or Jen she was a good girl. She never cussed use drugs never smocked nothing. At first things where good with us then I got bored. I missed the not knowing what was going to happen the rush of doing new things. See with (Lets call her Paige) Paige it was the same thing day in and out nothing new. But Paige was good for me she was the one who would keep me from doing shit I know I would hate myself for later. Paige never found out about my drug use nor did Kate. Witch when you think about it shows how much they really cared about. I really don’t know what happened me. If the younger me could talk to the me now I know he would be disappointed in me. I don’t know why but that means something to me. When I think back on all this like I am now I like to put all this on Kate for braking my heart and putting me on this path, but it’s not her who did this to me it’s me. I’m the one who jumped in bed with the girl who reminded me of I’m the one who took the drug and I’m the one who pushed them both away. Now in my life I’m just trying to get back wat I fell I lost. I don’t know what that is yet but I know I have to change something. I’m going to keep Paige around she really is good for me. I still want to fuck with Kate she was my first true love because of that I’m always going to care for her and do what I can to help her I just can’t let myself get pulled back in with feeling because if I do I know it’s going to end bad it always does. I just have to find that something that will make me happy. I know when I do that the rest will fall in place. Till then I’m going to try to make the right choses, I know I’m going to fuck up but I have to trust one day I’ll know the right one.

Anger, I use as a motivator to get things done I wouldn't normally do, right now working out is what it is I'm using my anger on, but the anger is starting to fade it was the motivation to work out. I'm in angry person in general so you would think the motivation would come easily to me. I need to find something positive to fuel my motivation not all the negative life has to offer. But still anger is the best motivator did you see that push to do it. I don't know if something positive would do the same

My time for me

After some meditating, I realize I need to stop acting like something I'm not. I thought if I acted like someone people except that would get me what I wanted, but it won't, I'm not going to say it didn't get me friends and girl I like but it didn't work because I wasn't being me I was compromising myself for something that I wanted. But no more, it's time to be me with out compromise. I know I'm going to lose friends but then again they weren't really my friends to begin with if they don't like it. The real me Is darker person in terms of attitude outlook on the world. It's my time to be happy

Texting and calling common courtesies

When you text or call anyone you expect to get an answer within a reasonable time not nine or ten hours late, understandable when somebody's busy but every day that's just rude. And when you return that favor they get all but out of shape late your the bad guy. Being ignored With somebody has an iPhone and it says delivered and read but they still don't get back to you for 11 for 12 hours or my favorite when you're on Facebook. Common Excuses I was sleeping or I didn't see your text you want to sleeping or you seen my text when I sent it or at least an hour afterwards just didn't want to text or call back. I don't like being ignored like most people but hey what can you do about it,
