short notice

heya!! i haven’t been feeling comfortable around/on this blog lately, so i’ve decided to move my blog! i won’t be refollowing all of my mutuals on my own, it’s more like a - if you feel like it, feel free to leave me a message to ask for my new blog’s url. of course, apart from that, there is always the possibility of finding each other coincidentally again ( via same mutuals etc. ) - so there will be plenty of chances if you still wish to have me and road around on your dashboard! :)

   Surprise and awe was written all over his face the moment he was caught up in the library of her mind.

   She wouldn’t remember the last time someone was granted access to her very own memory - for this was a first for her. And even in her wildest dreams wouldn’t she have imagined a mortal to be the one given the authority to roam about and see the noah as it was. That had been her longest secret to keep herself alive after all; unable to be murdered by one who hadn’t known the truth of her.

   Her mind was a collection of all the knowledge she possessed and gained throughout the centuries. As an apostle, she held the dreams of the noah clan and was thus existing for that sole purpose. 

   Never had she been more grateful for him to be part of the clan to record the world’s history and for them to show up on their doorsteps. She hadn’t thought for him to remind her of herself so much; to see in him what she refused to accept and was used to cover up with fake smiles and childish demeanor. 

   There’s no way this place is real…

   His thoughts were plainly obvious and it wasn’t just because she could hear him; he had made it pretty evident with the way he had acted and stared in disbelief and it took the man longer than necessary to get a grip on himself again. Façade dropped long ago along the way of their bond.

   Oddly enough, the noah has found a dear friend within the seeker of knowledge.

      Long had it been since her younger self joined the military; partly due to her seeking adventures and excitement and partly due to the household she had grown up in. 

      It hadn’t been easy for Road Kamelot to come as far as she has with her prowess alone, but she was glad that she hadn’t given up the moment hardship overwhelmed her ( again and again ). As much as the country might be advancing forward in technology and supposedly, human rights and equality - the place she chose to stay in would only have the strong and useful and anyone with decent eyesight would notice the shortcomings of one like her.

      Yet there she was in her own apartment ( now more prosperous than years ago ) on her cozy couch with an all-too-familiar man by her side. 

      How incredibly amusing things could turn out - she remembered it well; their first mission together and how he had looked down on her ( literally ) and how fast they had to learn to cope with each others strengths and weaknesses. And how to complement and support each other just to stay alive and maintain the absurdly high success rate they were both known for.

      She had come around to ridiculously enjoy Oikawa Tōru’s company more than she would have thought possible for a man such as him. 

      A genuine smile passed her lips; thinking back on the struggles.

            “It has been a long ride, huh?”

    The moment she laid eyes on him had her reminded of ones she used to know so well - they looked so much alike they could have been twins or triplets. 

    The more time they spent with one another had proven her claim wrong: they may appear to be similar to a certain degree, yet the personality was different and while she once was attracted to him through the constant reminder of those gone - now she could not envision that smile and face to be from anyone but the third.

           ‘Hey, Tyki, do you love me?’ — ‘Of course, that goes without saying.’

      His response back then was firm and without any hesitation. It had been one of her many pleasures and regrets alike - yet again had she gotten close to another Noah and as much as she thought they were beings hard to eliminate - it had been proven wrong to her before and the ninth had no intention of reliving the tragedy.

    They were in the middle of chatter and in the short, comfortable silence which had crept upon, she had to repeat herself once again:

      “I will always love you, Tyki.”

    It was far too easy to be victorious with the boy ( now almost a man grown ) by her side; fighting from within the depths and hidden from their enemies.

    The darkness surrounding them had been in their favor, for they both had made the place their own: 55 wins 20 ties and 00 losses each ( they had agreed on dropping the count for the disgraceful defeat both had tasted and hated ). The amount of challenges they had gone through and every time one was overthrown, a rematch was certain to be followed shortly afterwards.

    She had been surprised to find someone like him within the mortals, even if he was an odd character from seven hundred years ago. She was still questioning the tale of his arrival and the stories of his time from far back. It was implausible and Road had certainly been doubting his words when he finally gave in after all the persistent inquiries. 

    Yet she had come around to believe his words ( sometimes, at least ), seeing how skillful he was with the bow and the fact that Nasu Suketaka Yoichi was one of the few to win against the noah using her full power for one of the many contests. 

    Stories were told and history rewritten - she had always found his world more appealing than her own. And traveling to the past even more.

    ‘Let’s go to your time together one day - it certainly sounds like a lot of fun.’

   Often it was that they had been together like that; quietly enjoying each others company and idly talking about all kinds of curiosities which occurred either one. Often, those were questions about the simplest matters in their lives. And every now and then, the conclusion would excite them greatly.

   In the depths of their conversation, the young girl had dreamed about a day where she could be of help to those around her and pondered about how high the chances were for her to encounter something akin to a miracle.

   The trail of thought drifted off into all kinds of theories and fantasies about inhuman creatures walking in the shadow alongside them - mere words from two young children who hadn’t yet known what was to await them in the near future.

   ‘If such a being were to exist, I wouldn’t mind offering myself if it can grant me my wish.’

   Little did she know that those words had triggered the apostle to act.

   And it was not long after she sought help from her best friend - was it alright for her to become normal like any other child? She had felt like betraying the one person she held dearest apart from her family. Leo had eyes like no other and it had been the cause of trouble and pain for him and with her not being able to walk, they had something in common and understood each other well.

   Now that she had agreed to give it her body upon granting her own selfish wish, the young girl wasn’t certain what would become of their bond.

   ‘No matter what might happen, we will always be friends, right?’

Learn how to handle rejection and learn fast.  Part of becoming an adult is accepting that you will not always receive a “yes” to every request you may have. 

Other people have the right to say “no” to you. Throwing a fit, threatening, and/or harassing someone because you didn’t get your way is NOT healthy behavior. 

If someone says they don’t want to RP with you, don’t push it. Don’t guilt trip them. Don’t ask why. Say “Thank you for your time” and move on.

    she was not bothered the slightest by seeing Road naked, and the thought that her staring might bother her instead did not even cross Harley’s mind. Personal space was an unknown word to her: she stared, touched and commented as much as she wanted, never holding her tongue and hands back ( and everyone was sure this would literally be the DEATH of her, one day ). She gently scratched the back of her neck as Road spoke, not at all scared by her words. There were a lot of creatures which were not simply human beings in Gotham, and at this point Harley had made it her duty to meet all of them. Those who came from outside the city included.

     “Y’do well to do that.” One of her hands slipped into her pocket and she produced a little box of candies. She put one of them in her mouth, still talking while chewing. “What’re you, then?”

    It had been a mere coincidence for them to have crossed paths; that night on which Road had been surprised by the woman’s prowess and love for blood ( at least, so it seemed ) and yet here they were, behaving as if they had known each other for long; going out on night strolls to cease the boredom and satisfy their need for murder. At least, so she thought, I have found a partner to kill time. Someone who wouldn’t go down easily and cry out at the sight of her own powers and guilty pleasure.

    “To make it less confusing for you-”, the woman started before glancing at the box of candies - she was surely craving some sweets right now - and walked towards the other; and not even bothering to ask if she could have some, Road simply snatched one of the candies before it disappeared inside her mouth. She knew that Harley wouldn’t have minded ( she was simply too lazy to ask ), for they both were aware of her craving for sweets. “- I am of the Clan of the Noah. I am the ninth apostle and we’re a total of thirteen.”, she continued but soon noticed that the other would know not of what a Noah was. “...basically, I possess extraordinary healing abilities, command demons created by the first apostle and a bunch of other things I’ll show you tonight.” Truthfully, it was too much of a hassle to talk about her own prowess or about their genes and the Noah’s hatred. It was easier to show rather than explain. 

    “So, shall we have some fun then~?”

     “you made it all by yourself?” Her admiration was genuine. She was capable of many things, but practical activities were not her forte at all. She could make a vase fly from one side to the other of a room and then have it crash against the wall, but putting all its pieces back together would not be as easy. Let alone creating an boject - especially so unique -  all on her own! “It’s amazing!” she praised the younger girl, lowering on her knees to take a closer look at the umbrella. A slender finger touched its pumpkin-shaped tip and ran on it, and Chris loved the feeling of the carved material against her fingertip. She looked away from it only when the girl spoke again, and this time confusion showed on her features.

     “What can it do?” she inquired, more and more intrigued. “Is it magic?” Since it was so peculiar, it was not impossible for it to have more ‘powers’ besides the one of sheltering people from rain. 

      ‘Yes!’ she would have screamed if it spoke of the truth, yet, to her own disappointment, it was not. So the young girl shook her head. “No, the Duke made it himself!”, Road explained to the other and silently wondered herself whether she would be capable to craft something of equal worth. Probably if Lero was a normal golem.

      She watched as the weapon was viewed and touched and a sneaky grin slipped upon her face. “Not quite, but you ain’t wrong either.”, confusing words for a child like herself, but it was not long before she glanced around the streets; they were almost all alone under the darkening sky.

      “Lero~ show yourself!”, the Noah ordered and watched the other closely as the golem started to talk and move within her grip; muttering and complaining about ‘Road-sama, you shouldn’t be doing this!! What if the Earl finds out!’. 

      “As you can see, this is not just an umbrella! It is very good at complaining and ranting, too!”

     Her explanation made him raise an eyebrow. Less worth? Him? Who was MORE worthy then a son of Poseidon, the sea God himself? He gave somewhat of a glare to the creature then decided it was pointless and kept his attention to the nymph. After all, what did a creature like THAT know? It couldn’t even decide if it wanted to be a fish or a horse.       “Destiny? Depends. Destiny is more for mortals who think their lives happen for that sole REASON. Demigods don’t get that luxury. We’re guided by PROPHECY and mine is..” He trailed off and gave a shrug. “Gura slán an scéalai— wait.” His eyes NARROWED then, the meaning of her words dawning harshly on him. His life had already been CURSED with Apollo’s casual words, and he refused t be apart of another tale of ill will. The first had taken many years to come into effect, but it was a CRUEL outcome with little escape.        “If you’re going to predict my life, I’d rather you didn’t. I’m still not over the TRAUMA of the last one. I deserve a break.” Although almost three hundred years under the sea might have been classed as time enough.

      She could see that he was someone to be considered knowledgeable - much like herself and a dozen of her sisters; for others, she could not speak for she has not met many worth her time. Most sea creatures seemed vain ( herself included ) and they had an air about them which screamed of dignity and pride, power and might.

      At his words, she drew closer ever so slightly with a tilt of her head. “Yes?”, she inquired. “And your prophecy is?” Again, she was closing in on the creature. “Perhaps, you would find it in yourself to enlighten me about it?” The curiosity was definitely present, more so the excitement of meeting a being like him. Often had she heard about the given prophecies bringing harm to the bestowed and each and every time she had been dying to know what they were told.

      It was only then that his words had made her understand and for a moment, the nymph was in utter confusion.

      “I don’t mean to offend, and I certainly know not of all my siblings, and it was hardly possible to keep track of all the Demigods in our realm, yet you don’t seem… familiar at all.”, Rhode’s eyes narrowed ever so slightly, it was not so much familiarity she was speaking of, but more the way the other behaved. Always had she known that creatures such as herself ( and him included ) could vary as much as the sea was vast; yet there was something about him that made it difficult for her to understand.

      “Yet I was sure to have never seen or heard of someone like you before; despite all the hundreds of years for me to have existed and roamed about the sea.”

      She was not going to lie, it was and will always be impossible to know of them all. GODS had an unsatiable greed ( or was it pride? ) for taking what they wanted - especially so if it was a mortal they wanted to take.
