maybe i'm putting to much faith in the duffers but like...
they surely are aware of the current state of the world, right? that an epic gay love story is exactly what we need right now? that a silly show does have an impact on culture and the zeitgeist? that IT IS THAT DEEP? that at this point they had the responsibility to write s5 a certain way because of the power stranger things yields on culture?
so WHY would they EVER write a rejection story in the final season???

Volume 1 was incredibly good for byler. Like pretty much byler endgame confirmed. A lot of people are still nervous though. I don't really understand why. I'm not sure what OP was implying with this post, but trust volume 1 was absolutely incredible for byler.
