Everyone needs to stop pretending that something being illegal is wrong. Y'all smoke pot. Y'all speed in your cars, and text while you're driving without your seatbelt, rolling through stop signs with no signal. You build shit on your properties without proper zoning permissions. You download media from torrent sites. Meanwhile, opiates are being legally distributed and used by the pounds every day. Religions are getting away with heinous activities behind closed doors, because the only time the government gives a shit about separation of church and state, is when it comes to calling them out on pure evil bullshit. People are being held in cages, like animals, simply for having been associated with someone whose actions were deemed 'incorrect' by society. For God's sake, there are still people in prison that were arrested on marijuana possession charges in the 70's, all while it is slowly becoming more and more socially acceptable. But some of those people will die in prison for carrying a dimebag in 1973. Some of them have already died, primarily because of the conditions of their incarceration.
Immigrants are trying to seek a better life for them and their families. You know, kind of like all of your ancestors did when they came over. The reason people come over illegally is because the system is so fucked that most people aren't "eligible" for citizenship. For a country that was built by immigrants, we sure don't like to let anyone join us, unless of course, they already have money. And while we're on the subject, let's address the fact that because of simple profiling and racism, there are a number of Legal immigrants in these camps. And that's just because of how they look. See a pattern?
So, if you're justification for the ICE camps is that it's ok because they "broke the law", then fuck you. Go to hell. That's all I have to say.
