Charleville QLD, home of the Bilby & Cosmos Centre

On my travels I stopped in at Charleville for a couple nights and this plenty to see at this friendly town.

It’s famous for the Bilby and you can have an ‘up close experience’ with the Bilby but i think it’s only from April to October. It’s well worth it if you’re at Charleville during this time of Year.

The Cosmos Centre is awesome, it’s amazing what you can see in the sky in the outback. Make sure you check this out if your out there.

We stayed at the Warrego Motel Accommodation in Charleville which was comfortable and had everything we needed for our short stay.

Roma - An Interesting town in Central QLD

I recently stayed in Roma Queensland and it was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be.

Some of the things we checked out were the Romavilla Winery (of course), the ‘Avenue of Heros’ which is a tribute to the fallen soldiers of the region and ‘The Big Rig‘ which is a living memorial of Australia’s gas and oil industry.

We stayed centrally in a clean good quality Roma Accommodation in a place called Bottle Tree Gardens Motel. The Motel was simple but nice and the managers were very friendly. Here’s a pic of it:
