Hello again! How are you? How was this month?Oh, you shёte dolls? I could draw suits your dolls.
Ah! Um... Hello! I... I do what to dolls? I... I make them, and take care of them...
Looked out the window
And decided it wasn’t worth it to move... Do you know the feeling?
Sephy: *steps in shyly* Lain? I came to visit. Um *she takes out some fabric* I brought some of my children's old clothes. I thought your dolls could use them or you could re-purpose the fabric.
Lain stepped out from behind her. “Good morning, Sephy. I could use them… Thank you. How are you?”
“I would have to leave to buy batteries.” Lain rubbed his arm lightly. “I… I can’t go to the store…”
Sephy: *soft sigh* I’m sorry. I guess I don’t have any ideas….though the sweater is definitely a thing that will happen.
“Thank you, Sephy, that’s very kind of you. Ah-- The kettle is boiling.” He took the pot from the stove and set it on the counter, then grabbed the teabags and put them into the pot.
“Little house… The factory is huge, haha… But just the downstairs area might be easier. Oh, candles are so… dangerous…” He eyed the fire in the stove nervously.
sephy: I just meant the little living area here…ah, and yes, I see that now….hmm….and electric candles use batteries…
“I would have to leave to buy batteries.” Lain rubbed his arm lightly. “I... I can’t go to the store...”
“Thank you, Sephy. It will boil… soon. I really need to work up the courage to go and tell them I’m still here, they need to turn my electricity and water back on..”
Nodding, she found a spot to perch and looked around, “It wouldn’t be hard to tidy up your little house here….and until you get your power and water, it might be fun to play pioneer, right? Candlelight is nice sometimes.”
“Little house... The factory is huge, haha... But just the downstairs area might be easier. Oh, candles are so... dangerous...” He eyed the fire in the stove nervously.

Lain stepped out from behind her. “Good morning, Sephy. I could use them… Thank you. How are you?”
Lain’s eyes widened. “Whoa! Haha… Sephy, you’re pretty amazing. Just where does the water come from?” He filled the teapot then set it on the stove, then lit a little pile of wood inside the stove with a match.
Sephy is pleased with her work, “Some of it is condensed from the air, and some of it is from the river in my home valley. Quite pristine.”
“Thank you, Sephy. It will boil... soon. I really need to work up the courage to go and tell them I’m still here, they need to turn my electricity and water back on..”
“It’s not too difficult, is it?” Lain looked at her hopefully. He had really wanted to make her some tea.
“No, not at all.” She smiled and made a sideways S motion with her hands, and clear water started pouring from the tap. “There you go. It will fill up whatever container you need and then stop.”
Lain’s eyes widened. “Whoa! Haha... Sephy, you’re pretty amazing. Just where does the water come from?” He filled the teapot then set it on the stove, then lit a little pile of wood inside the stove with a match.

Lain stepped out from behind her. “Good morning, Sephy. I could use them… Thank you. How are you?”
Lain smiled wider. How sweet. He picked up a teapot and turned on the filtered water in the sink to fill it up… But it was off. “A-aah… I haven’t mustered the courage to talk to someone to get my water turned back on…” He looked down, clearly heartbroken. All he wanted to do was make a pot of tea for his friend, and he could have sword the water was running, now. But… Time passes so oddly for him. It must have been longer than he’d thought since he had water.. “I… I’m sorry, Sephy, I… I really need to get this place fixed up….”
Seeing his disappointment, Sephy asked softly, “Do you want me to help? I do have a little magic that could get some water…” She just couldn’t stand seeing anybody upset.
“It’s not too difficult, is it?” Lain looked at her hopefully. He had really wanted to make her some tea.

“A sweater? For me?” Lain smiled. “The kitchen is this way, I… I hope you don’t mind the dust.”
Sephy: *follows and waves her hand* oh no, the dust is no problem. It’s understandable. And of course, for you. *smiles* I don’t want you to get hurt, so a soft, thick sweater would keep you more insulated in case of accidental falls and such.
Lain smiled wider. How sweet. Lain stepped out from behind her. “Good morning, Sephy. I could use them… Thank you. How are you?”
“Yes… That happens when you’re made of glass.” He passed her and moved toward the hallway. “I can make you some tea… I have running water, and… Well the tea bags may be a little old from the last time I had some company that brought some over…”
Sephy: *touched by the gesture* that is so sweet of you. *follows him* I’ll have to make some very plush sweaters for you…..
“A sweater? For me?” Lain smiled. “The kitchen is this way, I... I hope you don’t mind the dust.”

Lain stepped out from behind her. “Good morning, Sephy. I could use them… Thank you. How are you?”
Sephy: *jumps a bit* oh! oh, I’m doing well. *turns around and smiles* I just went through our things today for spring cleaning and remembered your dolls. How are you, dear?
“I’m doing alright. It’s been quiet… People don’t visit as much anymore. Just as well– No one can touch me if no one comes in.”
Sephy: *frowns* no touching? oh. You’re delicate, right.
“Yes... That happens when you’re made of glass.” He passed her and moved toward the hallway. “I can make you some tea... I have running water, and... Well the tea bags may be a little old from the last time I had some company that brought some over...”
What do you do?
What do I do…? I… I take care of my dolls and… Try to forget the past. How about… How about you?
Are you okay? You don’t ssssound very happy…
Oh, yes, I’m fine… Just a little uncomfortable with strangers, you see, I’m breakable.
Oh I’ll give you ssssome sssspace then! *he slithered back* And don’t worry I can’t sssssee you! *he pointed at his bandages around his eyes*
