The Process Zine no6, custom-made version (24 copies made, all sold out): black hardcover, laser cut metal 4P cross, vvar camo patch, The Creation of Adam blasphemy photo in black and white (featuring Charles Manson) + other extras.

In his book called 'Satan's Power' as well as in the interview he gave me for issue no5 of the zine, professor William Sims Bainbridge was rather sympathetic towards The Process and seemed to have only positive memories of his times spent within the group. However, the above article (shared by John F, regular reader of the zine) shows a totally different face of Bainbridge's feelings. Was he a hunter or a pray? What is the difference between a lie and the truth, mass-information and mass-hysteria?

This one is fairly new as well, published in 2013 and already has a new edition coming. I decided to buy it as there haven't been any books on Manson recently so I thought it may give me some new perspective or cover any 4P related topics. I couldn't be more wrong. The book is a biography by definition, day by day, chapter by chapter. It gives no insight into Manson's philosophy or reasons for certain actions. It is boring as fuck, as simple as that. Wasted money.

The Process: Archives, Documents, Reflections and Revelations, by Alessandro Papa. This one, limited to 555 copies (my is 189) is a fairly new and fairly expensive. Most reviews are highly sympathetic and the readers praise the content as well as Papa's insight into The Process.

I do not share their feelings. To be honest, in my opinion, the book is pretty poor. In the title of the book itself Papa offers the readers some "revelations". What you actually get is a copy/paste of different Process documents and manuscripts. There are basically very few things you can't find anywhere else and the percentage of Papa's own thoughts to the source material is like 10 to 90. Highly unimpressive.

Papa explores different religious traditions but we do not really know why as the book was supposed to be focused on The Process itself.

He rejects the conspiracy theories surrounding the Process (Manson, Berkovitz, 4P) by simply stating those are fake and at the same time can't provide any arguments supporting his thesis.

He would like to see The Process through his very own personal belief and draw any interesting conclusion.

What is more, saying that Wyllie's book is "great" is at least unprofessional. Wyllie's book is a tool of getting money, nothing else.

To sum up - this one is rather not recommended.

Issues 1-5 compiled in a hardcover book edition, hand-numbered, a one-time pressing (200 pages).
