np you seem nicer than the last anon. this might make me sound naive or whatever but i AMMM an optimist and a lover at heart so i do think im very forgiving. i know you shouldn't trust celebrities blah blah blah but i do/did love lewis and everything he stood so, so ive always tried to read his intentions as good and for the longest time was trying to give him passes for things (like working with brad pitt) that looking back on im like... nah.

i guess the best way to encapsulate it is that this was my line in the sand and made me realise how capitalism and money trumps everything else. it's made me far more cynical towards his off track exploits and but i don't enjoy anything to do with his off track life anymore tbh.

i don't think he's a monster. i still believe he's the best driver in history and a net good in formula 1. i believe he says and does good things and has good intentions with a lot of things. but i am also aware that he is a millionaire before everything else. acting as pr for the image of a woman who is opening a bunch of stores in israel is harmful and it is purposeful.

tldr: i think i was ostriching in the sand for a long time and this was the final slap in the face
