hello! You may know me as @silverfan77 and I decided that since asks blogs seem pretty popular and a really like rp and Alastor, I decided to put both together. I have some rules though:

Tempest wasn’t exactly surprised when her secretary was alerting her that there was an overlord visitor. She could sense his presence despite the cold atmosphere of the dome.

The elk sinner was sitting at a chair at her desk, doing paperwork. A small duck, similar to her own stature sat perched along the corner of her desk. No doubt a gift from Luci. She dipped her head in acknowledgment to the dinosaur like sinner who was her secretary, waving her away.

“I’m aware, he can come in…”

“Your workers are surprisingly pleasant to be around.” Out of literally nowhere, Alastor appears behind her, already present. “As always, you forgot heat exists.”

The secretary left rather promptly, out of fear or respect, it wasn’t clear. Tempest however sighed, setting a stack of papers recently signed to the side. She spun her chair to raise a brow at him, crossing one leg over the other as she clasped her hands together.

“what do I owe the.. pleasure with your presence Alastor?”

“I simply came to check upon you dear!” His constantly present grin widened, slightly unsettling when paired with his surprisingly jolly voice. Though unlike Alastor, it was impossible to tell whether or not he was lying. “Besides, I can’t let my ring do everything for me.”

She frowned, a stark contrast between him and her in expression. Though she shrugged and spun back to do paperwork, her back to him. Despite their previous encounter, she seemed rather calm.

“I suppose you are right, about the rings..” she held out her claws to let the cold light of the nearby window to catch the red stone. The rest of the room was dark and rather gloomy.

“But I guess you aren’t only here to.. check in as you claim…”

“You catch on fast.” He complimented, pointing a finger as he circled her and her desk. “You see deer, your territory is my territory. I simply want to make sure that everything is up and running well. And that the obnoxious box head hasn’t been bothering it.”

“Your concern makes me feel so cared for” her tone was sarcastic, she rolled her eyes slightly.

“though it is nice that we both haves mutual distain for the television man… refreshments? Though last time I offered you alcohol in my own home you called me pathetic.”

she laced her fingers together and propped her head atop them, smiling almost sweetly, but it had a passive aggressive tone. Her attitude spurned from.. curiosity, and confusion. She couldn’t understand him. And it drove her mad.

“No thank you dear. I’ll pass.” Alastor calmly rejected her offer, having mostly forgotten of his last visit until she brought it up. He matched her passive aggressive attitude with his own, his grin widening in a ‘kind’ manner.

“Why didn’t you let Valentino fight me? We both know I have the capabilities to win against the daft fool. Do not excuse your actions about ownership….”

Tempest raised a brow, tone going from snarky to rather genuine. A desperate attempt to figure out his strange behavior. She glanced at his shadow on the floor.

Alastor paused, seemingly thinking of a response, before answering. “Perhaps at your best, you could have. But you were in no condition for conflict. And it showed.”

“What made you think that?” She turned her head to the side, eyes rounding slightly.

“my anger does not prohibit me from fighting, if anything it aids in it…”

“You were drunk, dear.” He stated firmly. “And the way Valentino was handling the situation was enough to show how that encounter would have gone had I not showed up. You need to be more careful.”

Tempest seemed to meddle over his words for a moment. Her expression blank as she seemed to recount the night and his explanation. After finding it valid enough she dipped her head.

“I suppose, but I am guessing you wish for me to express gratitude for your newfound interest in keeping my wellbeing?…”

she laid back slightly in the chair, resting her arms along the sides of it. Ears flicking leisurely.

The overlord smiled just slightly, at least finding the situation partially amusing. She moved the rubber duck gift over to a shelf before stacking her messy papers into a neat stack to finally clean things up.

“then I thank you. For being so caring for my wellbeing.” It was partially sarcastic, but there was something earnest beneath her words. She stared at a specific speck on the table. Not really trying to clean it, but rather using it as an excuse to not see his smug face.

“Anytime my dear!” Alastor hurried to her side, pinching her cheek mock affectionately. His tone was very clearly sarcastic, yet carried a cheerful tone.

“HA! But no my dear. I’ve simply decided that if I want this partnership to thrive, I have to treat you like my equal.”

She hummed dryly, ears pinning down at the possible static screech with his words. Not a big fan of loud noises..

“well at least you are an adaptable creature…” she murmured, dragging her claws from out of the sides of the chair when she accidentally hooked them.

“But since you came to check in.. things are running smoothly, as they always are. I keep my domain prestine…” Tempest scowled slightly, flicking a piece of ice off of her desk. The cool light from the window darkened as the weather of the dome turned into a blizzard like storm.

Alastor watched and listened intently, his ears idly swiveling and twitching. Once she finished, he spoke. “Interesting. I commend you for taking care of that which is yours.”

“Well I worked for my place.. I think it’s only right I keep it running smoothly….” She narrowed her eyes, ears swiveling forward to match his own.

“how’s the hotel?”

Alastor rolled his eyes at the mention of the Hazbin hotel, the mere thought of it causing him irritation. “It’s going as well as it can.” He responded both vaguely and dryly.

The elk overlord stood, grabbing his cheek like he did to her earlier, voice slightly condensing.

“oh don’t speak so ill of that shitshow… it’s slightly endearing… in the thought that the princess actually believes she could make a difference…”

She let him go promptly, walking past him to lose the curtains over the windows. Probably setting up th room for departure.

Alastor growled in irritation as she grabbed his cheek, turning to watch her approach the windows. “She’s exceptionally foolish in that regard. Nothing she tries will change what sinners are.”

“For once I agree with you Alastor,” as she shut the curtains, the room was engulfed with darkness. Tempest opened the door, gesturing forward, “I have to check to see if the weather regulation is working correctly….”

“I’d rather you not meddle with my personal files….” She growled, but her head jerked around as there was yelling.

The overlord left the door open as she went to figure out what was happening, putting Alastor on the back burner and leaving him in the study room alone in the dark.

Alastor quietly cackled to himself, knowing good and well what caused the commotion. However, he found the thought of tempest going on a wild goose chase after practically nothing was hilarious. So, he stayed calm, patient, and waited.

The ice overlord was gone for some time, the room silent and cold as if holding in a breath. Surely there were meaningful ways to pass the time?

Even the radio demon experiences boredom. He hadn’t expected his pet to have been gone for so long. And if his source of entertainment was gone, he’d simply have to find a new, temporary one. Noticing the papers tempest seemed so focused on, Alastor, after memorizing the order they were stacked in, idly looked and read through them. Something interesting had to be within them.

The majority were agreements signings: deals for cleaning and keeping up the cabins, paying workers, and very very limited Voxtek technologies. Underneath the agreements were a bunch of rejection notices: they all came from Voxtek and the refusal to allow certain shows into the domain.

The rest of the desk was littered with letters and previous signings, it really was a mess, frost covered across the wooden surface. The majority of the letters were casual of conversation, some were internal affairs on issues, but there was a few sent by Rosie to Tempest, and Verity to Tempest.

The desk also had a few drawers, though mostly empty, one was sealed with ice; a small lock hidden underneath the frost.

While the notes, especially the one from Rosie, piqued his interest, what really caught his attention was the sealed drawer. To curious to leave it be, Alastor conjured a green flame in his hand, holding it close to the ice in an attempt to melt it. He knew he’d have no way to reseal the drawer, so this was a risk. However, one he was willing to take.

The ice was a little persistent, but overall it melted within minutes. Further yelling downstairs confirmed Tempest would still be busy. Inside the drawer were sealed notes, a few more letters, and a death certificate… actually two. Small splatters of blood covered the edges.

Two offical death certificates for two sinners that were killed during an exterminstion. Felix and Anna Schmid. Their deaths were about three years ago.

Underneath were several photos, mostly from Tempest and her former employers before her growth as an overlord. The elk dinner looked.. different, more collected and calmer almost. Her eyes had that same cold flair, but there was almost a smile and relaxation in her posture. There was possibly some content feelings in the simple life.

In the very corner, there was a small object. It looked to be some old engagement ring, simple and low cost. The band was broken however. No doubt this was from her ex, (if Alastor remembered such details)

He had gotten what he came for and more. He left through the lobby’s entrance with a sly grin and a wave, no doubt raising suspicions in the nearby tempest.
