why is it that every single time a fashion historian/historical fashion person (or just like. Any historian ever.) points out something wrong with the costuming of a historical drama (especially when talking about details like hair styling) there's always like one random person in their replies going "Well ACTUALLY if you look at this this and this you'll see-" and then they either

A. Link back to that historians own work, which proves them wrong if you actually read the whole thing instead of the Google preview

Or

B. Are using something like *shutters* Bridgeton as a reference for 'historically accurate costume design' which...are two phrases that should never be said together, regardless of how you feel about Bridgeton the show.

Anyway, Steven, if you're curious, the costuming in the 90s mummy movie (the Victorian stuff specifically) is annoyingly decent for the time when compared to *shutters* The boat movie that shall not be named.

Steven, is the British bus system any less horrible than the American one? As someone who has presumably used both?

Because I am working through the nightmare of trying to figure out my bus schedule for today. And I am genuinely contemplating moving.

In London I would say it's a bit better, though once you leave the city the reliability of most of public transport goes down quite a bit.

In the comics Khonshu’s past avatars can communicate with the current one sort of. So you get their knowledge of fighting styles and stuff. Or that’s what’s supposed to happen.

That’s also why the other Fist of Khonshu (Dr. Badr, you don’t know him in this universe I don’t think) is also somewhat plural. He can talk to and get possessed by the other dead avatars.

For whatever reason Marc was unable to get this stuff. So he doesn’t have that. Yet another tally on the “things going wrong with Marc” list. Whatever. He can fight just fine without dead guys giving him instructions.

Why can't I be blessed with knoweldge from the avatars? Does Khonshu actually hate me or something like that?

Do you think you guys can talk to the past Moonknights like in Avatar when Aang can talk to past avatars?

See, (and I know I've talked about this before) as a person with OCD I have something that I don't think are quite the same as safe foods but I do have certain foods I trust when I'm in a particularly rough cycle (which, a lot of mine nowadays are linked to food and not trusting certain things, especially after recalls. Compulsions can be triggered by the most random of things, too.) which is mostly specfic foods (One brand of lox and Korean chicken.. I.. usually end up eating a lot of lox and smear bagels on those bad days.) and more non specific things like canned goods I can scratch the best by dates off of and stuff like that. So not exactly the same.

The reason why I bring that up is because exactly none of those are my favorite foods. Usually my favorites are like. Pasta. Sushi. Shrimp (that shrimp recall a while back was a nightmare for my brain, actually.). That kind of thing.

(and comfort foods are different too. Pizza is a big one of those because of my late stepfather.)

...anyway, I'm going to stop here because now I've geniunely forgotten where I was going with this.

I think it's kind of interesting how the brain can seperate the three (safe, favourite, and comfort foods) and where they overlap, if at all. I was never one to really study psychology but maybe there's an answer there

I like a lot of older music, joan baez and frank sinatra. Marc enjoys deftones, colter wall, and the smiths. And Jake also listens to some older music, but also other artists like bad bunny and de la soul
