Seiftis Forever Festival 2025

The Seiftis Forever Discord Community is excited to present this year's Seiftis Forever Festival!

Posting will be open from August 1 to December 31, with late submissions accepted through January 31, 2026.

✨ Theme: Alternate Universes (AUs) ✨

Whether you've written an AU before, dream of writing one someday, or have no idea what the term means, we encourage ALL to check out Fanlore's official definition here, along with examples of AU subtypes here. Remember that Canon Divergence counts as an Alternate Universe! You can change even ONE detail in canon. For example, will Quistis successfully stop Seifer from going to Timber!? ⚡️

SUBMISSION RULES: 1) Your work must feature the Seiftis pairing. 2) Your work must be previously unpublished. 3) Your work must fall into the genre of an Alternate Universe (AU).

Do I have to be a member of the Discord Community to participate? This event is open to everyone, but we would be thrilled for you to join us. Can't wait to meet you there! Does my submission have to be a fic? What if I don't have an account on AO3? You may submit any type of fanmedia! Submissions will be accepted outside of AO3. Just make sure to send your link to Garden_Gal (or leave a comment on this Tumblr post) so that she can include your fanwork on the Master List (to be released on Tumblr at the close of the Festival). Psst, psst. This is another great reason to join our Discord Community, because we encourage our members to share their works on a regular basis... ❤️ What if I don't finish in time for the posting period? That's okay! While the goal is to submit your work(s) from August to December, we will happily accept late submissions through January 31, 2026. If you're penning a multi-chapter fic, the minimum submission is the first chapter. After the event ends and the Collection closes, you can continue your multi-chapter without any time constraints! Can I submit more than one work? Yes, absolutely. Feel free to submit as many works as you would like to! Can I cross-post to another event? Cross-posting is acceptable, as long as the other event allows this too.
