Welcome!
Nice of you to drop by! As you can see, there's not much going here yet. That is because I'm currently trying to create a reasonable buffer of pre-written posts, so that I can keep up a halfway regular update schedule once I start for real.
What's this gonna be about?
Artificial intelligence and its branches and related disciplines, like logic, robotics, language processing and computer science. I know the title suggests mainly robots, but I take after my namesake in that I rather poke around in their heads than their servos and other mechanical bits (sorry, engineers). Also, because of reasons, there will be pieces about the people who came up with all that stuff, and on how it has influenced and reflected (pop-)culture through history.
Who's this for?
Heh. Myself, so I can talk forever about stuff I love. But seriously - this blog is supposed to be a 99% noob-accessible sort of crash course. If you're at least as smart as the average first-semester I've taught (and I assure you that's a low bar), you'll be able to follow the explanations.
The fairly broad spectrum of topics hopefully means I can keep people with previous knowledge interested too, so if you guys think I should go more in depth on something? Speak up (same applies triple if you spot a mistake, which will undoubtedly happen at some point). Also, I'll keep my submit open, just in case you want to drop some knowledge (please do).
tl;dr - Everyone interested in the topics above. Wether you're a teenager trying to feel out if this is your calling, or a published researcher in the field, you're all invited to the party because dude. Robots!
So! Stay tuned, I'll see you soon!
