Chapter 3: Plan for Leaving

Fate has come to me, that is why I know that it time to leave. Alden 16 year old boy, has started his plan for leaving his home town, Byport. As the name has said, Byport is a place where you can travel though water easily, has many ship, and it a town that is famous for that. I have actually makes plan to go to the Riverbell before, but this is the first time I get serious that it should be enough to make real plans. I have write an important note from the book into other paper and prepare a bag that contain snack, sleeping bag, map, water, keys, money I keep, notes, the book, pen, pencil, camera, fire starter, and (old) phone. All that left is food that I will get later, and to say bye… that will be the hardest, but first for a plan I wish someone would help me but I just can’t tell them now.

This is the plan I come so far, first I will search for the girl name Eizabella by asking people in town that they see her or not. Second I will ask her for why and how she wanted to find Riverbell. Third I will try to convince her to join with me, but that could be impossible. Fourth I will went and find more people to go with me. Fifth I will go to the Riverbell! But first thing first is to say thing to my mom and Nile, so I will go and tell her went mom ready for dinner, I wish it my favorite rice.

“Alden, the dinner ready!” after a short while my mom called. I try my best there nothing else I can do, I stand up open the door, went down stair, no costumer is here now. I seat down quietly and prepare to eat. My mom was cleaning up bottle and then she said not facing me “So, Alden, Yesterday, no about 2 day ago I clean your room and do you know what I found.” I got really surpise by it was my mom who say that. “it was that book was it, I still remember when you show me that when our home is still alive.” My mom say and she then look at me. “Go on” my mom said. I feel like I can trust my mom now. I then ask “Mom! can you.. please..” Say this now Alden! Or never! She must have already know! “Can I go out to find Riverbell!”

My mom smile and said “ I can’t stop you anyway, although I am worry since the world is harsh, but it vast so there could be that Riverbell.” I got really happy that my mom accept  what am about to do “be careful and try to find that girl Alden,  I approve you, both of you” went my mom said both of you, I don’t really understand but I know that I can and I will. I got more courage and feel that my mom support me and I will not let her down. I eat the dinner, all of it, then I go up, hug my mom, then went to my room.

I have prepare mentally and now only a good sleep will help, so I went to my bed, still have something to do but I will be back. I have decide that I will be back, it will took a long time until I could reach where Riverbell’s world is. But I have decide to not going back here until I did something that will make me be able to go to the Riverbell’s world.

The next morning arrives, I took my cloths and bag, I try to went down quietly but fall down the stair due to the bag being heavy. My mom was already down stair and Nile was there too, it seem mom has told him what happened. Nile then said “You are a man go for it ok?” I replies “Um!” my mom took the bag and me up then she said “I have checked your bag yesterday and have arrange things and some bread in for you, let eat the breakfast first then you go!” I then smile and said “Aye!”

I eat the breakfast, it was an omelet rice! I had a very good time but I must go. I pick my bag after finishing, Nile cry and shaking his hand. My mom then cry smiling and waving at me with Nile. I then walk away, thinking, the adventure begin.

Chapter 2: A Girl named Eizabella

“When all seem hopeless someone will save you” that is what I has always thought but the world is vest and hard. I’m about to die, I can’t even think about this properly but It good that I at less has dream. I about to gave up when I saw someone, a girl falling from the sky, it seem she was kicking, she pass me… what? It seem I am free, everyone else look surprise why? Oh yeah…. A GIRL FALL FROM THE SKY?!?! I was shock I got unconscious.

          What happen? It all seem burry. My mom was looking at me with a worry face then she got very happy. “Alden! Waked up!” My mom say happily to the other costumers “Really? Alden! Are you alright?” the costumer say, it  Nile! Nile is an old man that come to our inn almost every day. Oh yeah, I got unconscious and got up astonished “A girl fall from the sky!” my mom then so you are alright and cry. I got her worry.. “Sorry mom” I say “You don’t have to as long as  you are ok” then she hug me. I then ask Nile “Uncle Nile! What happen?” Nile then say. “Well….. I do not actually sure but a girl broke in from the ceiling and kick the guy just now in one kick and he got very scared look then shout ‘you are that girl! I KILL YOU’ before he could the girl took something out, it seem like a knife and said coolly ‘I am not done with you yet!!’ ”. Nile say in girl voice. “The girl then hit the guy and he got unconscious and she brought the man away saying ;how dare you stole my precious things that I stolen!’ then she turn to us then say, ‘Sorry!! I broke your floor.. Please accept this!’ the girl hand over a thousand gold coin (In a bag) then we accepted not knowing it that much. The girl then say again ‘About the stolen things part, it was from a bad guys and it was to go to the Riverbell!’ ”

          “We all got surprise and know that she got spirit, so she could go there although no one know it exist or not.” I got really surpise, Riverbell? , someone has the same dream as me? I feel excited and happy but I also think that she and me are different, it like she from a different world. That girl seem to be nice… I must meet her and talk to her again! Nile continue with his story “The girl a most walk away the door when your mom ask, ‘wait little girl what your name!’ the girl seem a bit angry” I think she must be little and don’t like that. Nile continue “ the girl answer ‘my name is Eizabella, you can call me Eiza or maybe Bella.’ She then go while saying that with a smile on her face” Nile end his story.

          I then ask “Do you know where she went?” Nile then say “Why do you want to know that? Did you fall for her or not?! Little boy!” I then imminently say “What.. NO way!” Haha Nile laugh “I do not know where she going but it probably somewhere about or to the Riverbell.” I think I know where that would be actually “Thank Nile!

          I get up to my room then go into my book self, and get the map and a book I hide in the shelf.  I didn’t tell my dream to my mom because she could be angry and I don’t want to leave her too. If she know that I am going to Riverbell to restore my childhood town that been destroyed with my dad gone with it, she will be angry and sad. I take a look inside the legend book that I found in the locker of my dad’s room back in the town, about Riverbell. They state that river bell is not on this world, in fact it in the other world where the only path will open once a year.

          The path in to the other world has always change but the path only appear on top the mountain, where it can be summon by a …. The next page been scratch away, that girl may know what is the summon way. I must try to go to her, I must..

Chapter 1: The Riverbell

I was unlike any other person, I have dream, everyone in my village has always bully me for that and laugh to me about that. I don’t want to care about them because unlike any other person I have dream that I should be proud of! To..to go to the.. Riverbell! A legend place where you could wish for one wish per person if you drink the water from that place. The legend also said that the God there has always been living in that place as a spirit that enable to grain any wish no matter how impossible it is. I wish to go there, the adventure await me, although it impossible to go alone, and after the wish has been grain, the Riverbell will disappear from where it was and appear in another place. So only one person will be able to grain wishes at a time, getting some member will be hard.

          “Alden! The lunch is ready! Come down and eat my child!” my mom call me from below stating the lunch id ready, it probably my favorite meal omelet rice and a hot soup. I went down the my house which is an inn, I grab my dish which has my favorite meal and hot soup in it and sit down on the chair and put the dish on the counter. I quickly and with happy face eat all of my dish, but then some horrible thing about to happen. Bang! The sound of the door of my inn open forcefully, everyone then get quiet only the sound of the music is playing. A big man appear, everyone then get their face scared, I look at the man carefully as he walk toward the chair in the middle. I know it that man that was on the wanted paper in front of our inn! He must be dangerous, I got scare and shaking my mom then walk toward him and said “Do you want anything?” she say that like she said to any costumer. No mom! That guy dangerous! The man smile a little bit, his face contain a scar “What do I want? BEAR BRING ME A ALCOHOL!” the man shouted out loud, after that he then talk to himself. “That girl I am gonna beat her up next time! WHERE MY ALCOHOL!” my mom quickly grab a beer gave it to him. “Here your beer sir!” my mom serve her beer, I think she thinking go away you drunkard! You are scaring other costumer!, or something. The man quickly grab the beer from my mom’s hand and drink it and shout “BRING ME MORE!” my mom scared “Aye!” and quickly walk to grab the beer. I can’t take this anymore! Someone help!

          After a while the man started to get even angrier for some reason. I can’t do anything, I must r to help my mom! I move from my chair and went to my mom but on the way the man see me. “YOU KID OVEr THERE! CoME HERe.” I don’t know what to do and went there. “YOU DARE TO MOVE BEFORE MY EYES! JUST SEEING YOU REMIND ME OF THAT GIRL!” he look so scary I try to run away, but the man grab me on the neck. “IF YOU DIE I WILL FEEL EVEN BETTER! HAHA DIE!” It hurt! My body can’t breathe, I don’t have strength to move I can’t think properly and can only say in not loud voice “someone.. help meeeeee” I can’t even scream it all seem hopeless I can cry.
