Hey, I just wanted to day that I, personally, will support any decision you make about the blog. It has been an awesome blog, and yeah, running one may be difficult, and I fully understand if you no longer continue. You guys matter more. If you don't want to carry on, don't. At least you started it.

Thank you so much. You are so sweet and understanding. I’m so glad that you and others are being so supportive and caring; it makes me feel a lot better about the whole thing. Still, I do hope that this is not a permanent thing and that it will be continued in the future. Thanks again for your kind words ☺️

You have no obligation to decide anything, you can just leave for a bit and let the others run the show for a while. You don't have to keep everyone updated, you don't even have to make a decision - just get back to it when you feel like it, or update every other day or whatever you feel like. It's supposed to be fun, not stressful or like a chore. Just go with what feels right c:

Thank you, I really needed to hear that. I still don’t know exactly what will happen yet, but for now, I am taking a personal hiatus (on both this blog and my main blog). Hopefully, the others might decide to continue without me for a while, but if not, I will be back eventually. I think if I were to do it like you said and just go at my own pace and do what feels right, then maybe I would start to have fun again. So once I’m back from hiatus, I will try to do that instead.

Again, thank you so much for being understanding and for your kind words and advice. You’re very sweet and I truly appreciate it ☺️

how come you guys haven't been posting?

I’m sorry. Truly, I am.

There are multiple reasons really. First is that I’ve lost motivation for this blog lately. Secondly, my members have been unresponsive (perhaps because they are busy?) and I don’t have anyone else to step up to the head admin position when I’m like this. I just have been relaxing this holiday and don’t want to work. Because to be honest, this blog is a lot of work. It’s like working a part-time job that has no pay and half the time the work you do is under-appreciated. I love my members and all of you guys but I don’t think anyone truly has any idea how much effort running a blog like this takes (besides people who are the head admins of other ask blogs; they totally understand). I, myself, had no clue how much work a blog like this would be before I started it. And while I had lots of fun in the beginning, I’m just starting to find it to be more like a chore that I don’t want to do. I feel like my other admins feel the same way. And without any of us having the motivation or energy to continue, it means that we haven’t been posting.

I’ve been trying to decide what to do and I’m really unsure. I’m not sure if I should discontinue the blog, go on a hiatus, or just pick the new admins myself and hope that they bring new energy back into the blog. But it’s hard for me to bring new admins into the blog if the other members aren’t there to greet them, so I don’t really want to do that. Plus, as I’ve mentioned before, I really don’t want to make the decision of the new admins by myself.

So, I’m just sort of at a loss as to what I should do right now. I feel really bad about this. I don’t want to give this blog up but I really don’t feel like I can be in charge as the only head admin anymore. I just no longer have the drive and motivation to be that person.

If anyone has any suggestions, comments, or questions, please feel free to speak up.
