I am wearing the pave bullet by chloe and isabel because the sparkles really work well with the embellishment of the collar without going overboard ! The bracelets are The petite pear and chain bracelet with the Modern Deco Stretch Bracelet underneath, the antiqued 'gold' look works well with its clear crystals to match up to the collar embellishments as well as the silver bullet!
I don't usually mix materials in the jewelry I wear but I couldn't help trying something new with this look!

The Food Fetish
So its been a minute since I have posted food goodness, and although this doesn't have photos I will do my best to get you excited about my latest trick! As you may or may not know the only thing we do weekly is make pizza dough and the things that come with it, like pizza, garlic knots, flat breads, etc, well usually I make a nice pesto or beautiful red sauce using fresh or canned tomatoes, but recently I started trying something new. I used sun dried tomatoes (the dry kind but you can use the ones in oil and they will work just fine). I finely chop a handful of sun dried tomatoes, garlic, red chili flakes and fresh basil and add to 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a little pot, once the aroma is going and before the garlic burns add a full cup of water. Let this simmer, add onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil. Finally you can add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste or 3 tablespoons of tomato ketchup, let it thicken up and you are ready to top your pizza, this makes enough for one large pizza and its SOOOO DELICIOUS!
This is a chunky sauce but you can puree it if you like a smoother texture.

The thing about SALEs ... we are addicted to the word, we treat them like they will never happen again and most of all many people don't seem to use them properly!
First, stores use sale signs to get people in the door regardless of if anything is actually on sale, or rather deflated from their initially over inflated prices. This isn't cool.
Then there is the pre & post holiday sale. Which every day for the 12 days leading up to Christmas I was posting 3 daily items at 40% off... and now that Christmas is over, there are over 100 items at 40% off.
Now here is the problem with the post Christmas sale or the end of season sale... it means there is a new line, a new collection a new must have right around the corner! This is where things get crazy.
You can save your big bucks for the newest shiniest thing come the new season, or you can use a fraction of that to bulk up on essentials or awesome statement pieces currently on sale.
Well here is what I am doing. I am spending the $100 I would usually spend on 1 or 2 pieces, to stack myself full of the little bracelets & necklaces above!
