Education System in India needs improvement
We all complain about the education system in India. The real problem is not in the education but it is with how it is implemented by the system. The system has made it all on marks and percentage. But what happens when students graduate and go out for jobs. No one there cares if he is a gold medalist or not, important is he has skills or not.
Skills, dedication, persistent and an urge to keep facing the challenges and keep learning new things every single day. All these things play such an important role when we go out to work in the practical world. But in India, all that matter is "marks". After some years nobody remembers their marks of their boards. Ask yourself, do you remember your boards grades? And how much it matters to you right now if you are working. Marks are important but it should not be the only thing that matters. Practical knowledge and skill are all that matters.
Reservation system in Education where the one who might deserve to go in the best college is unable to go just because he couldn't clear the cut off. Every year so many students get upset just because of these reservation system. It creates discrimination in education.
Update in education system hardly happens and is not working for the one who are already enrolled. They don't get to learn new technologies because education system doesn't update their courses and they have to learn it from outside or on their own.
Students with special abilities are not focused. They have special schools but they are very few in number. They are not given an equal importance just like other students. They always have to compromise. There is no equal place for LGBT students.
Our system believes in "Theoretical than Practical". Different policies from foreign countries are implemented but their education style will never be implemented. Education system has made students so dumb that at times they can't even know their interest field. this system makes a student life depressing. Our system is not creating graduating they are creating robots who just know to mug up and how to run for the cut off to be cleared.
The fact is, we need prisons that are more like schools, and schools that are less like prisons. Education should be such that a student enjoys the process, he learns something that will be helpful to him in his practical life. Since half of the things we learn is not useful in our practical life.
And when it comes to fees, these institutes spend huge amounts on their infra but what about the main thing that is education. Hardly there are some good professors who are actually passionate about their job. Education is new age business in India. No one cares about student education all they are interested is in monetary benefits.
