Colton nodded in agreement with Rosalie. “It definitely didn’t disappoint.” He admitted, watching as she stared at him for a few minutes, but her next set of words somehow confused him, causing him to furrow his eyebrows. “..Why would you think that I’m not attracted to you?” He questioned, a hint of confusion showing in his voice. “I don’t think we have to worry about that, though, because I am attracted to you.”

“Because when I forgot about the ridiculous get up I was forced into before putting on my dress, when you helped me out of it, you didn’t even blink or notice-- and I mean, it was pretty elaborate.” Rosalie blushed, and she sat up from her position so she could get off the bed, and walk over to the window herself. “Sorry, I’m just being stupid.”

Colton turned around at the sound of Rosalie’s voice, his eyes briefly falling onto what she was wearing at that current moment – it earning a slight smile in response, as he moved to head over to the bed taking a seat beside her. “Better then I expected.” He admitted, with a shrug of his shoulders. "Did you have a nice shower?” He questioned, genuinely caring.

Rosalie smiled back, watching as Colton came over to take a seat next to her. “Well, I’m glad it didn’t disappoint.” She nodded her head, and she pushed herself onto one side, one elbow propped up as she stared at the other for a few long moments, until she could feel the typical word vomit bubbling up inside her. “...Are you not attracted me? I mean, I ask because I think that could be a problem. You know, because we’re married.”

“That I did – it wasn’t where I thought it’d be, but that’s alright.” Colton gave a shrug of his shoulders, as he laughed at Rosalie’s next statement, almost as if she was reading his mind. Considering he was thinking the same exact thing. “Exactly what I was thinking.” He admitted, watching as she began to write down everything she wanted, earning another laugh from him, mostly in amusement. “Yeah, I don’t mind ordering it.” He answered, watching as she shut the bathroom door, before he went and ordered room service for them both, before then heading to look out the window at the view.

About 30 minutes later, Rosalie remerged from the bathroom. Her hairstyle from the wedding had been taken out, and her hair fell in loose waves down to her waist, not sopping wet due to the fact she’d used a complimentary shower cap. The smell of food was absent, so she assumed it hadn’t arrived yet. When she noticed Colton on the opposite side of the room looking out the window, she quietly moved over to the bed, laying down on her stomach as she propped her head up by her hands. “Is the view nice?”

It wasn’t that Colton didn’t care, it was that his mind currently was everywhere but where he wanted it to be, but he hoped that he somehow hadn’t managed to offend Rosalie, yet another thing he didn’t really wanna do. He nodded in response, before he then began to search the room for the menu, locating it moments later, causing a smile to spread across his face. “Found it – I have no idea, why it was over here though, but that’s alright.”

Rosalie returned a couple minutes later, covered in a fluffy white robe. “Oh good, you found it.” After taking the menu, she moved towards the bed, unceremoniously falling on it and on top of the red rose petals that had been strewed all over it. “I think we should order just about everything possible since we don’t have to pay for it.” The brunette giggled as she continued looking through it. She grabbed a complimentary notepad and pen from the bedside table, and scribbled down all she wanted. Which was a lot. “--That’s what I want, can you order it? I’m going to take a shower.” She flounced off the bed and towards the door of the hotel room, grabbing her suitcase that was there and wheeling it into the bathroom with her, closing the door after her.

Colton watched as Rosalie walked over to him – before he then unzipped her dress, and helped her out of it, feeling kinda bad that her dress seemed impossible to get out of, without help but thankfully he was the kinda guy who enjoyed helping others. “You alright now?” He questioned, with a smile, double checking, before he turned in the opposite direction, fiddling with is tie, as he attempted to undo it.

Rosalie’s expression was one of gratefulness-- up until she remembered what she’d been wearing underneath once the dress was long gone. Wearing barely there lingerie with a thong no less was not the appropriate way to be around her new husband-- who was a stranger mind you. She looked up at Colton, her eyes wide-- though she was relieved...and a bit annoyed, as he either didn’t notice, or just didn’t care. “Uh, yeah.” The mexican beauty cleared her throat, before sauntering over to the room’s closet, seeing if she could find a robe of some sort. “Can you see if you can find the room service menu?”

Colton shook his head at her response. “I’ll remember that for future reference, that you’re always right.” He joked back, although he didn’t say anything about her running a hand down his bicep, it didn’t mean he wasn’t thinking anything at that current moment. He was impressed with the room, it somehow was better then he’d expected and judging by her reaction, it seemed Rosalie was thinking the same thing – he nodded, not even protesting at the mention of room service. “Same.” He admitted, before nodded again. “Yeah, I’ll help you out of your dress. Well, even if it’s killing you, you look beautiful. So, there’s that.” He complimented, hoping she wouldn’t think he’s saying that because he had to, when he was saying it because he wanted to. “That’s probably why, sounds like something they’d do. It doesn’t make me uncomfortable, I’ll promise you that.” He told her, genuinely meaning it. He was that kinda person who’d help her, even if he still didn’t know her all that well, because he felt comfortable around her.

Rosalie was far too uncomfortable in her dress to dwell on Colton’s words. She slipped her heels off and then walked over to the other, turning her back to him. “Please, please, please..” The brunette was thinking about how she wished she hadn’t gotten such an intricately designed dress that was impossible to get out of, instead of the fact that she’d been forced into some bride lingerie before putting the dress on-- something that would be normal, if she’d just married someone she actually knew. She’d probably regret not pulling her suitcase out and grabbing something to change into once the dress fell to the floor, and she was reminded of what she had on underneath.

“Yo trato, gracias por darse cuenta de.” Colton let out a laugh at her squeal, shaking his head slightly. “You told me to pick you up, I only did as asked.” He joked, unable to prevent a slight grin at her comment about his arms. “You can thank my job for that. You’re allowed to comment about my arms, you know. I don’t mind actually.” He told her, as he used the room key to unlock the door – before carrying her into the room, and gently setting her onto the bed.

“En cualquier momento.”  Rosalie rolled her eyes playfully. “You should know this now for future reference-- I am always right. No if, ands, or buts. Better get used to it.” She joked. At his comment about his arms, she trailed a hand own his bicep, and though she looked at him from underneath her long lashes, she didn’t say a word. Verbally. “Wow...” She said as soon as they’d entered the room-- it was really fancy, top of the line, and she noticed that the bed she was being sat on had tons of rose pedals, much to her amusement. “Alright, well....I think we should order room service.” The brunette announced unashamedly. “As soon as you help me out of my dress, it’s killing me.” She said, scratching at the back uncomfortably. “I’m pretty sure they designed these things so the bride wouldn’t be able to get out of it without the help of the groom. Sorry if that makes you uncomfortable.” The last words she said coming out somewhat nervously.

“Ah-ha! I knew you were up to no good.” Colton let out a laugh, as Rosalie playfully shoved him – earning a slight poke in return. He without any hesitation followed her, until she stopped and handed him the room key. “Vasquez – you might wanna remember that you know.” He commented, it clear he was just playing around. Before as carefully as he could picked her up, carrying in the direction of the room.

“Okay, Vasquez...Eres una descarada, ¿no es así?” Rosalie wasn’t sure if she’d expected Colton to actually pick her up, but when he did, she squealed. “Oh my god..” She wrapped one of her arms around his shoulders, smiling slightly. “Nice arms..” She blurted out, her cheeks tinting red. “I mean, just commenting and stuff.” The brunette backpedaled, giggling nervously as the door was soon in front of them.

Colton had fun meeting Rosalie’s friends and family, they somehow proved to him just how amazing he already thought Rosalie to be. He snapped out of his thoughts, unsure at that moment what to think as they headed up to there newlywed couples suite, he oddly enough felt comfortable around her, but it was just the realization of everything that made his nerves kick in. But he forced himself to keep his cool around her. “So.” He answered her, a slight grin spreading across his face. “Nah, I’m not a serial killer. And you’re not an axe murderer, right?” He joked back, giving a playful wink.

“Oh no, you caught me. I guess I’ll have to call off the dissection for tonight.” Rosalie found herself playfully shoving Colton in the shoulder after he winked, not able to help the laughter that escaped her lips. So far so good. When they got to the right floor she sauntered out and in the direction of the room, which was at the end of the hall. “So, I think it’s only customary that you carry me through the threshold, Mr...what’s your-- no our last name again?” She giggled as she handed him the room key.

 Colton gave his best smile he could manage, as they walked down the aisle – a little worried about how the rest of the night was gonna go, but he already felt comfortable around her, even if he had only just met her. But he kind of hoped that was a sign of some sort. He kept glancing occasionally over to her, at hopes he’d come up with something of some sort to say, hopefully something not stupid enough to scare Rosalie away in the process.

The wedding and the reception had ended up going by really fast, though it had surprisingly been fun meeting all of Colton’s friends and family, and vice versa. Now that they were alone together for the first time, in the elevator up to their newlywed couples suite, the nerves from before started to kick in. She looked over at her husband-- wow, that’s a weird thought, slyly eyeing him from top to bottom before looking at the elevator doors to avoid being caught checking him out. “So...” Rosalie began, her hands clasped in front of her dress. “You’re not a serial killer, right?” The brunette jokingly asked in an attempt to start a conversation.

Colton watched as Rosalie moved a little closer, once he was told the words ‘You may kiss the bride.’ Under the circumstances and all – he still felt like he probably should, and it was a little unfortunate that there first kiss had to take place the way it did, with a little hesitation he both softly and gently kissed her, only pulling away seconds later. Somewhat searching her face for some kind of reaction to it, unsure of what exactly he was expecting but he was hoping for something – anything really to tell him, how she was feeling at that current moment.

Rosalie eyes blinked shut after Colton’s gently touched hers. Wow, his lips are soft. Unfortunately, those were the only thoughts that came to her head, though she knew full well it was due to the anxiety she was still feeling, as well as the overwhelmingness from the situation they were in. Yes, she thought he was attractive-- but would they end up having chemistry once the night calmed and they found themselves in the honeymoon suite? Only time would tell. As her eyes flashed open, a brilliant smile appeared on her features. Rosalie was definitely more anxious for the wedding to end and for the night to begin, this much she knew as she took his hand, smiling at everyone as they walked down the aisle.

Colton gave her a smile as Rosalie glanced up at him, somewhat hoping that was enough to help her relax a little. He internally took in a breath as the vows began, his expression never changing and the smile staying on his face – but he was certain anyone that looked at him could see just how nervous he was. As she said the ‘I do’ part now that was a relief, he couldn’t help but think she was going to chicken out. “Do you take Rosalie Flores to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?” He gave a nod, trying to spit the words out, which he swore had gotten stuck in his throat literally. “I do.” He answered, his smile somehow matching her own nervous smile.

Rosalie let out a breath she hadn’t even known she’d been holding as soon as Colton said I do. For a moment there, she’d thought he was going to literally choke on the words and die at the altar. “Since, then, you have pledged your mutual vows, I, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the state and the church, declare you to be husband and wife, according to the ordinance of God and the law of the state. You may kiss the bride!” The brunette held her breath. She knew that they didn’t have to kiss due to the circumstances, but she kind of felt like they should. Plus, what if they didn’t have any chemistry? That would be horrible. Still, she moved closer so that way Colton could decide whether he wanted to kiss her on the cheek or on her lips, the fact she was actually married now having not settled in just yet.

Colton glanced up after hearing the priest begin to speak, he listened to every-word they said about Rosalie making a mental note in the process. In his opinion Rosalie already sounded like someone he’d have no problems getting along with, she was intriguing especially after that little introduction and he couldn’t wait for the chance to speak to her a little more. “Now, Colton’s family and friends want you to know, just how lame and loveable he is. For as long as they can remember he’s always loved helping other’s – willingly taking his shirt off his back for a complete stranger, if they needed it more then him.” He couldn’t help but shake his head, unable to keep a smile from his face and he was starting to think it was glued. “He’s a little stubborn sometimes, more so like a bull but don’t let that fool you from seeing how amazing of a guy, he actually is. He’s just a teddy bear - with a soft heart.” He gently gave her hand a squeeze at attempt to show her, that he too was a little nervous. 

Rosalie smiled lightly, one of her eyebrows raising a bit as she listened to the description that was given of her soon to be husband. She looked up at his face when he squeezed her hand, and relaxed a bit. In all honesty, she probably would’ve been more nervous if he had been calm, cool, and collected. The makings of a serial killer. And then it was time for the vows. “Do you take Colton Vasquez to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?” Oh god I’m going to vomit. Her eyes danced around the man in front of her’s features, then at the priest, and then at their guests. Just say it. “I do.” She exhaled, a nervous smile appearing on her features.

Colton snapped out of his thoughts, once he heard her voice. “Hey.” He answered, glancing now at what he presumed to be her dad — judging by the looks he happened to be giving Colton, who didn’t really mind all that much. Considering it actually was understandable and all. “Nice to meet you, Rosalie. I’m Colton.” He let out a nervous laugh, his gaze never moving from her. “That’s a beautiful name, by the way.”

“Colton.” Rosalie murmured, trying the word out to see how it felt rolling off her tongue. She blushed at his words, but before she could say anything, the priest began to speak. “Colton Vasquez, meet Rosalie Flores.” There were a few whoops from the guests after he said this, and the brunette grinned, though her cheeks tinted red. “Rosalie’s family and friends wants you to know not to let the cute little face fool you-- she’s a spitfire and a handful.” If it was possible, her cheeks were burning even more. “--but she’s also passionate and intelligent and true. Once you’ve had her you’ll never want to extinguish her flame.” Incisors dug into her bottom lip as she listened, her smile having softened as she stared down at their hands that were connected. I’ll be lucky if he doesn’t run away when it’s time for the I do’s.

Colton watched as everyone turned to look once the doors opened, and he let out a slight of relief once he spotted everyone coming out the doors — but it was only once he spotted her for the first time ever did a smile spread across his face. More so, that they were actually going through with this. His eyes never leaving her as he watched her make her way down the aisle, amazed at just how beautiful she just so happened to be. He let his hands drop to his sides, somewhat hoping with how many times earlier he had ran his hands through his hair, that it wasn’t too badly screwed up. He could feel himself starting to relax slightly, even though the entire thing had literally only just started but it was the fact things were going smoothly so far.

Rosalie took a deep steadying breath as she continued down the aisle, a soft but hesitant smile appearing on her face as she got closer to the man waiting on the other side. Okay, he’s cute. Really cute. Maybe I can do this-- no wait, I can do this. “...Hi.” She breathed out as soon as she stood right in front of him. Her father looked between the two, and the brunette turned her face in his direction. “It’s okay.” With a nod, he stared her future husband down before finally placing her hand in his. A light tingling feeling of anticipation began in her fingertips at the contact, and her smile widened slightly as her father went to take a seat, her dimples making an appearance. “I’m Rosalie.”

Colton was having a small moment of doubt — it keeping everything that he had to keep it together, and to not look nervous. But he couldn’t help but wonder what the hell he was thinking when he thought this whole thing was somehow a good idea. He had never been someone who liked standing around waiting but here he was, waiting for some girl he’d never met. Who he wondered briefly, if she had gotten complete cold-feet and decided to keep him waiting a little longer, not that’d he blame her considering they’d never met before, and that alone was a little terrifying. He glanced towards his family on the right — who gave him a smile, something that was a little comforting, but it still wasn’t enough to make him relax completely.

“I can’t do this!” Rosalie exclaimed, her face alight with fright and anxiousness as she stared wide eyed at her father. The brunette had felt amazing up until the moment she realized that this was actually happening. If her father hadn’t been there to calm her down, she would’ve fled with no thought to the fact there was a man waiting for her in there, his family, as well as her own and friends. Her bridesmaids and maid of honor-- her little sister-- were wisely waiting to the side and letting the brunette’s dad take the brunt of her anxiety. “What if he doesn’t like me?” She all but whimpered as she stared up at her father, at which point her sister stepped up and sassed her out in spanish at her stupidity. “Alright, alright! Ay...” Rosalie finally exclaimed, waving her sister away, who only smirked and said work it, before getting back into the line. And then her friends were disappearing one by one through the doors, and then her sister was gone-- and then it was time for her dad to guide her through to the ceremony. “I hope I look twenty times better than I feel.” She whispered, and her father rubbed her arm soothingly, before tucking it under his. The doors swung open, and after her eyes swept over the people looking at her, her gaze was captured by soulful brown eyes.
