This was difficult, I love them all so much!!
send me three marvel characters and i will put them in order from my favorite to least favorite!
Steve's time travel at the end doesn't make any sense given the rules laid out by Endgame though (ie, he should be in an alternate timeline now, not in the main MCU timeline as an old man. ) Right?
Yes, a lot of people have told me this already. You're right, I kinda assumed Bruce made Steve come back but he didn't come through the portal so I'm not sure now. Maybe there's an explanation for that or maybe it has something to do with Steve having the stones? I don't know, I don't think I could come up with an explanation for that right now but yes, that seems to be a big plot hole.
Endgame spoilers!!!!
I see a lot of people saying Endgame has a lot of plot holes when actually you guys just didn't pay enough attention. This is isn't traditional time travel we're talking about and it's explained in the movie. 2012 Loki escaping with the Tesseract, 2014 Thanos dying or 2014 Gamora being stuck in the present don't have any consequences in the main timeline but in their respective alternate realities. Whatever happens in those timelines doesn't affect the main timelime. Loki is probably alive in that 2012 timeline and 2014 Thanos dying means there's another reality where the decimation never happened. However, characters who died (but not by Thanos' snap) are permanently dead in the main timeline.
Endgame is not perfect and there are some things about it I find disappointing but please, make sure you understand the movie before jumping on the hate bandwagon.
