I have a conundrum.
Do I call my version of grimdark

light sounds better, but it doesn't meet the letter requirements.
glow sounds terrible but is literally the only light-related 4-letter word I can find.
I am tempted to use lite, but that would just be silly.
Would the ancestors in au work as the beforus troll's ancestors in the normal canon? Cause i really like them a lot and i think they would be perfect for the alpha trolls ancestors

It was sort of my intention when putting this all together to keep the trolls as true to canon as possible, just imagining what they could’ve been like that young that would have LEAD to them being like they are in canon, and with that in mind I tried to come up with ancestors that they may have aspired to be or been accidentally influenced by in canon and let that lead the plot.
So yeah, in my opinion, they could also totally function as canon pre-scratch ancestors. c:

here’s the short version: Nepeta had the power to see into people’s hearts and Terezi into minds, and see they predicted the future with their powers. One day they predicted the queen would die which pissed her off, she called them blasphemes, so to keep them from being killed Gamzee (the Oracle/mentor/father??) sewed their eyes and mouth shut so they couldn’t use their powers, but he fucked up (bc sopor high) and did the thing to the wrong one, so now Nepeta tricks people with her silver tongue and Terezi pierces minds with her red glare.

Nah, Caliborn is still Caliborn, but this time Calliope got the upper hand for being more devious. He's still evil and a complete little shit, perhaps death humbled him just a tad bit, and okay, him and John chatting is less evil, but in the way canon Caliborn would chat with Dirk.
Basically Caliborn is the same, but just imagine THIS Calliope is the one the canon universe needs, the winninger, badass, destructive version of Calliope.
Which hilariously is one way this could all end, idk I don't know how it ends yet since canon hasn't end yet. :\

They DO switch roles, however Caliborn is still a little shit and Calliope retains her sweetness, but she is a lot more malicious now. If I haven't mentioned it already, the theme of thetastuck is "killing you with kindness"--I mean how else would you expect Feferi and Calliope to be the bad guys?

Actually it is sad, because Kankri is the only post-scratch troll to NOT be sprited, he just putters around the dream bubbles all alone. Not to mention that he actually was sprited with Rufioh at first, but Dave got so annoyed with him he time traveled back and corpse-blocked Kankri, becoming Daviohsprite instead. He may have doomed an entire timeline, but in his exact words, “Worth it.”
Then there was that time he killed someone on accident, got killed by his flushcrush, can’t hang out with his moirail anymore, betrayed all of his morals, annoyed all his friends to the point that they avoided him, not to mention the fact that he lives in fear of being culled—idk man, Kankri’s whole life is pretty sad. And to top it all off he’s not allowed in the sprite club.

What are the circumstances around Meulin's haircut?
As it would be a pain in the ass to try to convey this via drawings again,
it was chopped off in a battle with some underlings (you know the main basic foes in the game). Literally like Meulin got into a strife and was about to be killed when Kurloz came along and rescued her. One of the bad guys had her by the hair and she freed herself by cutting is off (still wasn’t able to get away though). The battle shown here is the one I’m talking about.
