Being on the wrong end of obsession being considered natural fan behavior now got me trying to use poetry to challenge my fantasies of mutual obsession, too.

The Simp-Wifebeater Complex

In this complex, there are only two types of males:

The male who will assassinate even his own character as long as he perceives a chance to have sex and romance with the female(s) he wants.

The male who will assassinate everyone else's, but especially females', characters in the name of preserving his own character, but especially his masculinity.

Now, while I think of this as the just as antisocial male equivalent of the Madonna-whore complex, my experiences with the worst of all genders so far has me filled with disappointed surprise at the likelihood of this complex still being something that men like me have way more than any other gender has. I mean, for one, have you ever wondered about the absence of men, especially genuinely heroic ones, in harem stories that have not so many male characters? And have you ever wondered why male viewers of VTubers are so quick to vehemently accuse male VTubers of being creeps? But at the same time, I consider it another reason to fight that complex as well by putting learning and doing genuinely good behavior first and foremost, especially for the men who really wanna do better, rather than perpetrate that complex even more by being paranoid about my fellow men, especially the worst of the worst.
