Still a slow uploader, but I'm feeling quite blessed with how I've managed to come up with stuff to post on the blog this month. Praise and thanks be to Him and his challenges and guidance yet again, then.

Tifa brought me here, and I was a bit curious about Yasmine after finding stuff saying that she’s from my country, and then Yasmine got the most of my attention and appreciation because of her character design. Sure, she looks like a shounen anime protagonist wearing my country’s flag, she looks less conventionally pretty than Tekken’s Josie is, and she’s definitely no satisfaction for nostalgia, but I fell for her as soon as I saw her hot-blooded look. Seriously, I’ve been down bad for Tifa ever since I first met her in Crisis Core during my teenage years, and I might consider myself down abyssal for her if I were keeping up with Final Fantasy VII way more than I’ve had kept up with it so far, but Yasmine? I feel like she just fulfilled a lot more of my boyhood dreams, and I’m pretty sure my boyhood dreams were never this composed, let alone patriotic. And to give you more of an idea about how more efficiently this Philippine representative in a fighting game roster convinced me, it took my first time actually playing as Tekken 7’s Josie and clearing Arcade Mode with her (in an actual arcade, even) to get convinced about Josie’s appeal. Overall player demand right now may not be big for Yasmine, but I don’t care. Yasmine has me freaking stoked, and I want everyone to know that. Nasindihan ako ng matindi, lokong trip. 🔥🤯🤩🔥
