Yes. tinie-faerie made the wig and helped me but we both did it in about two weeks. Which is crazy even by our standards.

Don't decided and make the costume in two weeks. Give it a little more time then you think to mull and grow into something really cool.

I always pick one thing to do first and do it. Decide where to start and devide and conquer. Don't aim to be perfect. Practice helps but perfect doesn't exist. Finishing is what's important, especially for a first cosplay or a more difficult one.
