(It has been 3 months since Charles was revived. And fate hadn’t really been kind to him. Everytime he feels pain in any sort of way, he is reminded of that void...that dark dark void....and ever time he would be reminded of RUAM. It has been 2 days since both of them died. But it felt like months in there. Who knows how long RUAM has been there...)
*Charlie shook his head of the thoughts, deciding to focus on the task at hand. He couldn't help Ruam by worrying.*
So if I gather enough electricity here...
*He was drawing up some plans- they looked very complicated, but it seemed the idea was to get to the universe where he could get a new set of keys. There had been plenty of trial and error, so far with no success.*
Still trying to revive him?
Yes. I'm closer this time.
(Sigh...) Look I know he’s your closest friend but...I don’t think it’s worth it reviving him...
We're not doing this again. I never give up on my friends, dude. You should know this about me by now.
Charles. How long has it been since RUAM died?
I know and I don't care. The longer I leave him in limbo the worse of a friend I am.
*He thought back to the last time he left a friend behind. Now that friend was his enemy, and he couldn't forgive himself for it.*
And isn’t he mad at me and my people? We exiled him and I left him behind in that limbo. I am sorry to say that I am not doing this for you, but for the sake of my people. He has been there for most likely decades for him. Who knows what destruction and chaos he would bring.
And why do you think I stick around with him? Sure, he's my friend, but don't you wonder who cleans up most of his messes? That's me. I'm sure I would be able to talk him out of that. I have other means if he's too stubborn.
*This was kind of oversharing- not even Ruam knew this information, and Charlie intended to keep it that way.*
...(Sigh...) Fine. (The Wizard get’s our the revival book which is glowing.)
...damn, I forgot you had that thing.
Follow me. We need to go to his grave.
Alright then.
*Charlie followed the wizard to Ruam's grave.*
(There it was. Buried under a construction area. The grave.) ...Are you sure about this?
Absolutely. No turning back now.
*He ignored the fear that Ruam may truly be vengeful.*
(Sigh...) (The wizard opens the book and everything becomes so bright that Charles has t close his eyes.)
*He covered his eyes once more.*
(The Wizard collapses. and infront of Charles was RUAM with his back turned around.)
