A few weeks ago I decided to start to share my handmade classroom materials on teacherspayteachers.com. This was my first attempt: my Functional Communication Bundle. I included some break cards, help cards, wait cards, and a matching transition sheet for the break area of the classroom. I wasn't really sure what to start with, but I felt that this is hands down one of the most useful things I have used in my classroom. You can find various versions of the same thing on the web...since they are essential to any Autism classroom. These little pieces of paper have diminished so many behaviors in my classroom when they are used/taught correctly. My hope is that this little bundle will save a few of you time, so you can focus on all the other important classroom stuff.
