The second the name registered in her mind the recognition lit up her face “Oh…I..Hi! It’s a pleasure to meet you” She said standing quickly and offering him her hand to shake.
He took her hand in both of his and gave it a squeeze. “Sit sit...” He gestured for her to return to her seat. “I was merely touring the city and I saw that you were here. Thought I’d come introduce myself officially.”

“Because your Uncle decided to start playing with fire.” He shrugged. Rolling his eyes, Ophie wiggled his fingers and the door reappeared. “Want to try that again?”

Gendry spun round at the sound of the familiar voice, a wide smile covering his features “Ophie! What the devil are you doing here?”
Ophie gave him a wicked smile. “It appears, my friend, that there has been a sudden influx of warlocks in New York...and not all of them summoned by me. I’m here to keep an eye on things. Anything to declare?”

“What…” Dastan asked innocently as he turned around with a matching wide innocent smile and eyes.
“Hi, Ohpie… Honeycomb…” He sung. “I’m doing nothing… What are you doing?” He asked as half of the potion disappeared from the shelves and his back room transformed into a teddy bear closet.
“It would appear my sabbatical has come to a tragic end. And just in the nick of time.” He pointed a finger at Dastan. “You don’t fool me. What’s in the closet?”

“So it wasn’t you who stole Marsilia’s favorite vampire?”
“I don’t like surprises, Luke. You should have warned me. This is going to have dire consequences.”

“…..” Luke stared at Ophie for a minute before shutting the door again but this time he let down the wards around the manor and didn’t lock the front door, as he walked towards the living room. If Ophie needed him he’ll come in and find him.
The door opened without Ophie touching it as he trailed after Luke into the house. Removing his coat he tossed it over a chair. “We need to talk.”
