I'm very interested in how their interactions are going to be from now on now that Coco knows about the silverwood. I Can't even imagine how she feels knowing that she could lose another parental figure to forbidden magic. I don't think she's gonna let that happen, though.

The world pre-pact drives me insane for a lot of reasons, but one of them is that we just have absolutely no idea what it was like. Even the illustrations here are storybook style, and we all know that myths, legends, and stories often have a habit of getting warped over time. What did the world look like? What kind of magic was actually common? We see a few long-lasting ramifications of what magic used to be used for, but most of the world seems to function normally, still. What was the exact breaking point that initiated the pact, and is what witches are told now the whole truth? I am going bonkers.
