A big old cedar tree with a little ❤️ painted into it stands along the Stanley Park seawall between 2nd Beach and 3rd Beach. It’s been there forever. I always wonder who left their ❤️ behind there.

1️⃣ .... 2️⃣ .... 3️⃣ .... 4️⃣ ..... its the longest hopscotch I've ever seen, this was on the the brick walkway of Bute Street near Haro. I'm always delighted to see these chalk constructions on the ground, even if I dont jump on the squares in body, I do in mind. Was this extra long one made for adults to resurrect their inner child? They are so temporary, gone when the rain washes them away, short and sweet like our childhoods.
A peaceful moment at Lost Lagoon. A young man and a heron stood frozen like statues, so close to one another. The contrast of the silhouettes against the greens of the lagoon looked as if both figures were cut from dark paper and pasted there side by side. Harmony of man and nature.
The Nicola Apartments is a site to behold in the West End. The exterior with the ghost vine markings covering it's facade reminds me of vericose veins on an old person's body. I wonder what she looked like when she was young in the prime of her youth?
