Goals: To get back in shape for the summer

Leisure: Not much actually! #savehomefires campaining… By the way there’s going to be a twitterstorm tonight 9-10 pm. ALL welcome!

Spanish idiom:  “Dar gato por liebre” meaning “to give a cat for a rabbit”. So you are expecting a rabbit, but they cheat you by giving you… a cat!  I found it could be translated more properly  with  “To be sold a pig in a poke”. Right?

Today I woke up dreaming of Cornwall, so I looked for information on the web and…wow! It looks amazing. If you’ve been there and want to share your experiences you’re very welcome to do so.

The only thing that keep me from booking a ticket is - apart from the money I don’t actually have (that is not a meaningless matter) -  they suggest to use a car to drive around the many places worth seeing.

I imagined myself driving on the wrong side of the road and just the thought of it made me shiver.

Probably I wouldn’t last a day.

I’m convinced that there are things people can do, either easily or with a wide degree of effort and things people can’t. This is something I definitely can’t do.

I’ve passed my anatomical pathology exam and now I’m into forensics. Believe me it’s not as cool as it may seems at first sight, considering the amount of laws you’re supposed to know and remember.

Probably I’ll spend all the summer studying, that’s a very likely prevision, but I don’t mind since I’m not the bathing-in-the-sun type at all.

I’m going to take a nap now :D

A brilliant women-driven series is in need of your support! ITV has decided to cut it down after two successful series because they need to “refresh” the schedule (Are you serious?).

Yes, I’m talking about Home Fires, inspired by Julie Summers’ “Jambusters”

August 1939, Cheshire, England. The Women Institute of Great Paxford faces ordinary and extraordinary issues during the World War II (Yes,it is about women in wartime).

There’s jam making (a lot of it!), women reunions, pilots, gay ladies, domestic violence, doctoring and much, much more!

I don’t want to give anything away, so have a look at it :D
