It's my 12 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳 I had no idea! And, if anyone is interested, I’ve added a few chapters to my epic fanfic FW 1946: UXB, both the T and M versions (Find it on FanFic dot net). It is my life’s work, now. 😏😅

Darling
Here I am.
I’m here.
I slip my fingers into yours
And say to you my darling,
But you’re gone beyond my care and love,
And words and touch
Can’t bring you to me now.
There’s nothing I can give you.
No, not even darling.
Wide-eyed we both:
You, desperate from the struggle
Me, shocked and silent —
Silent so I’ll burst
From all the darlings I can’t give
To keep you with me.
But I’ll speak them in my head
My darling here I am
I’m here my darling
Darling here I am
Forever
Darling
Okay. That was the one. That did it. Here come the tears.
This is the one that did me in:

Anthony Horowitz :
“What is the word for it when the entire country sees what is obviously true but is repeatedly told that it isn’t? And when the person telling you doesn’t really care? Shamelessness.”

My old quietlyenigmatic forum won’t even let me, the Admin, post a message now, so it looks like the forum, as an actual discussion board "is no more, has ceased to be, is bereft of life, rests in peace, and is an ex-."
Above is the message I was attempting to post for any members who still occasionally look in. As of now, you can still look around at the various pages.
Alas. 😢
Clovelly Village, Devon.
The timeless village of Clovelly, where the steep, cobbled street tumbles down past gleaming white cottages to the tiny, deep-blue harbour with views over the Bristol Channel.
The novelist Charles Kingsley lived here as a child from 1831 to 1836. Later in 1855, his novel Westward Ho! did much to stimulate interest in Clovelly.
Clovelly is also described by Charles Dickens in “A Message from the Sea” and was painted by Rex Whistler, whose cameos of the village were used on a china service by Wedgwood.
“Aren’t the clouds beautiful? They look like big balls of cotton… I could just lie here all day, and watch them drift by… If you use your imagination, you can see lots of things in the cloud formations… What do you think you see, Lt. Reed?“ "Well, those clouds up there look like the map of the British Honduras on the Caribbean… That cloud up there looks a little like the profile of Thomas Eakins, the famous painter and sculptor… And that group of clouds over there gives me the impression of the stoning of Stephen… I can see the apostle Paul standing there to one side…” “Uh huh… That’s very good… What do you see in the clouds, Ensign Chekov?” “Vell, I vas going to say I saw a ducky and a horsie, but I changed my mind!”
Very sorry to see that Jay Benedict passed away from Covid-19. He played Captain John Kieffer in “Invasion” in Foyle’s War, and later Major Kieffer in “All Clear”.
Likewise. Very sad. His official site is running a guest book if anyone would like to leave a message of reflection or condolence.
