Apparently “spite” is not an ‘appropriate answer’ to “What motivates you?”
@thexkingsxsniper - Richard.
The younger twin was quite use to being a prisoner in his own house, He didn’t mind, as long as he still got to go out now and then with his brother and still got to write his books and sell them.
But when Jim had left the house and had not come back on time, That was when he started to worry.
He made his way downstairs and peered into the living room. He let out a breath in relief when he saw that Sebastian was there.
“Seb? Jimmy’s been gone for an awful long time… Do you think he is okay?” He hoped to god that Jim had told Sebastian that he had even left the house.
Sebastian was content to sit and read through a book or flick through his phone. He told himself that he was monitoring Watson and Sherlock and other targets but…really? It was just an excuse to do absolutely nothing. Which was the whole point of this trip. They were staying with Jim’s brother so that they could regroup and recover and Richard and Jim were not to leave under any circumstances. That wasn’t too much to ask was it?
“What d'you mean?”
“Well… Jim… Jimmy left the house an hour ago.” A bad feeling formed in the pit of his stomach.
“He didn’t tell you, did he.” It wasn’t a question, but an observation. Richard walked over and sat next to him.
“Seb! What if he’s hurt? What if someone followed you from London?” He was starting to fret and panic.
It was an effort for him not to scream and hit something. "No. He didn't tell me. Why would he ever tell me what it's something he's not supposed to do?"
Deep breaths Moran. Deep breaths. "I'm going to call him. Calm down." He pulled out his phone and dialed Jim's number.

“More than the crown has.”
He rolled his eyes. He had more than the crown, that still didn’t tell him how much he had to match and beat.
“Look, Im willing to pay you double, so that you, go tell them that you killed me, bring them the evidence, then report back to me, when they pay you… only to go and kill them… but i need to know how much i’m paying, so that i can write out the cheque.”
Sebastian pulled a paper from his pocket. On that paper was a number. “Beat that.”
He peered at the check… and then started to laugh. “My my, only that much… it’s already less than what I’d normally pay as my normal amount…” he giggled.
He pulled out his cheque book and wrote out the number to show him exactly what he would pay him, exactly double the amount that his old employer had promised.
“What do you think? You willing to go trick them, get their money and then kill them and get this on top? Cause I have a full proof plan.”
Sebastian grinned. “Sounds like a deal.”
“Perfect.” Jim purred. “Come along ‘Bastian, we have work to do and a plan to talk over.” He stood up.
Moran got to his feet and stretched. “I like where this is going, sir.”
“Good, im glad.” He lead the way to a black car and got in. “HQ please Anderson.”
"Where are we going?" Sebastian slid into the car next to him.

Sebastian fell into the chair and put his boots on the table between them. “I don’t usually meet my targets.”
James tutted softly when he placed his feet on the table, but didn’t comment.
“Thats probably because they are dead.” he smirked. “You seem like a good shot, when was the last time you missed?” The atmosphere was casual, but it was an interview non the less.
“India. While I was recovering from a brawl.” A brawl with a tiger but that wasn’t the question now was it? “The left shoulder took a bit of damage. Needed to get the strength back.”
“Ah, and seeing as you are in front of me, you won said brawl… Tell me, how much was i worth? and would you like to earn double yet still get the amount they promised?” he asked him casually, drinking his tea.
"More than the crown has."

It was one thing to watch the place from the scope of his rifle from the roof across the road, it was another entirely to step up the stairs, past Mrs. Hudson, and into the front room of the flat. A bizarre experience, to be sure. Especially considering that the place smelled…charred.
When his target appeared, Moran turned to greet him adopting a ridged posture that spoke of military service and a particularly nasty injury to his left shoulder. “Colonel Sebastian Moran.” He said roughly. “I need your help. For reasons you will see if you read this note.” He held out the note stiffly. “But you could have read all that in the dust on my coat, couldn’t you Holmes?”
Sherlock noted all the details in front of him. This man was unusual. Not his usual clientele. He took the note from the Colonel but didn’t read it; “Tell me. I don’t particularly enjoy fannying around with scraps of paper.” Sherlock insisted as he met the gaze of the man in front of him.
Clearly this person knew him from more than just his blog. He knew about the ‘deduction thing’, for starters. Which was something Sherlock never had the time to write up on his blog… And John didn’t either. So had he worked with him before? No. The face nor name rang a bell. So was he here on a recommendation? Still no… So who sent him…?
Moran laughed and sank down onto the couch. "Stumped you have I?" He asked and leaned back. "Pity. Alright. So. I'm a sniper. Retired, of course. But I ran into a bit of a drug problem." Lies. He was a drinker. A heavy one as it was on his breath. "Now this wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't for the matter of the status of my family and their ties to the crown. A criminal is blackmailing me..." Utter rubbish.
"I need your help to figure out who they are. The criminal. They left a business card with a spider on it at my door." A nice tidy trick, that. A nod to a certain spider in a certain web. "And a threat." Stop him of you've heard something like this before, Sherlock. Really. He's having too much fun.

So there he was. The detective. Sherlock Holmes. The one his boss was so captivated by. Sebastian would be jealous if he didn’t consider such things to be beneath him. Besides, he’d been itching to meet Sherlock and now his boss had given him the opportunity.
Walking up the steps to the detective’s door, Moran paused and rang the bell with a gloved finger. In the other hand was a note, a challenge from his boss. A case for dear Sherlock. Once the door opened Sebastian gave the person there his most winning smile. “Is Mr. Holmes in?”
Sherlock heard Mrs Hudson answer the front door and rolled his eyes, “Just come up!” Sherlock bellowed down the stairs from his kitchen where he was busy mixing acid for a case. By now, he just assumed that Mrs Hudson would have given up answering that bloody door. He momentarily considered getting a permanent sign saying ‘don’t bother with the bell’.
Sherlock used the back of his rubber gloved hand to push his goggles back up to the bridge of his nose as he stepped away from the small glass tube of rather horrendous liquid. Possibly his best batch yet. “Who is it, what do you want and why?” He called out, waiting for the visitor to arrive in his front room.

Jim smirked as he sat in the most open and visible are he could find. A rival of his had gotten tired of him and had found one of the best snipers he could buy.
Jim was just going to kill the sniper off.. But then he did some research and decided that, no, he wasn’t going to do that.
Jim was going to have the sniper join his ranks. And he really did need a new head-sniper.
[Blocked Message: You do know i can see you right?] [Blocked Message: Something is reflecting the light of the sun…] [Blocked Message: is it a buckle?] [Blocked Message: I thought being a sniper was all about stealth.]
Perched on the roof with a bottle of vodka (not his favorite) and cigarettes (also not his favorite) Sebastian Moran peered through his scope at the man he was assigned to kill. It was a boring old gig and he was just about to pull the trigger and end it.
And then his phone started to hum. Things always got interesting when that happened.
(Blocked Number: And here I thought this was going to be a boring job.) (Blocked Number: its the rifle. Didn’t bother hiding it. This job is supposed to be a quick one)
[Blocked Message: are you sure you want to kill me tho?.]
He turned and looked directly at him, raising a brow.
[Blocked Message: come down and have tea with me.]
He raised the Cup
[Blocked Message: Its on me, i even have Cake.]
He winked.
Sebastian fired through the window, blasting a hole clean through the teacup.
(Blocked Number: I’ll be right there)
He pouted at the broken cup and then ordered another one without caring any more than that.
“I was drinking that.” He told him when the sniper arrived. “Now, I ordered a cup for you too, please sit.” He gestured to the seat across from him.
Sebastian fell into the chair and put his boots on the table between them. "I don't usually meet my targets."
@keyandcrown
Sebastian sat on the basement steps, sipping a beer as his boss worked. The poor bastard that broke the contract had tried to rat them out looked terrified. “It’s mean to play with your food, boss.” The sniper remarked.
Jim smirked up at the sniper, his black shirt sleeves, rolled up to his elbow as he casually walked around the gagged male, who was strapped down to, what looked like a dentist chair.
“I dont see whats so wrong about it. Its rather fun to play.”
Sebastian stifled a yawn and took a swig from his beer bottle. He didn’t like the look in his boss’s eyes.
“Don’t get too carried away.”
He pouted, making a small slice in the mans arm. “Dont you trust me? i know we need him alive as a warning for others.”
He then looked at him with a hint of concern in his eyes. “When was the last time you slept?”
“Not what I meant, boss.” He mumbled and drank a bit more. Sebastian was worried not about the man in the chair, but the state of his love after.
“Last night.” Liar. It had been a week.
He sighed, knowing what he meant. “I’ll be fine.” he told him softly.
He frowned. “It doesn’t look like it… are you really trying to lie to the master lier?”
He Continued to cut into the man before him as he talked casually to the sniper. This was one way to keep his manic emotions in order and not go insane.
"I'm trying to get my boyfriend to stop worrying." He pointed out and then looked to the man. "Oh don't look so surprised. Even you could see I belong to him completely."
