Good morning from New Orleans! Saw this cool little Vespa, and it inspired me to try something new today. Every time I pass one of these things, I tell myself that it would be dope to ride on one - I think it's time for me to actually do it instead of dreaming about it! Austin, Texas Bound!

2:30p.m. (Starbucks in Austin)

As we crossed into Austin, “You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morissette silently played through the speakers. Until, of course, we realized what song was playing. With surprised excitement Holly adjusted the volume to “loud-enough-to-sing-your-lungs-out”. I remember hearing that song as a child and loving the chords. Now, I love it even more so, because I can FEEL it. I’m currently posted up at the Starbucks, creating graphics for Fashion Bomb Daily, while still humming my favorite man-eater song :)

8:30a.m. (Crossing the Texas state line)

Wo! Time for tunes. Holly and I sing along with Craig David as we cross into Texas from Louisiana. Long live the 2000’s!

7:26a.m. (44 miles outside of Lake Charles)

Holly and I chat about our old stomping ground as co-workers and discuss the lessons that we’ve learned. One thing that stands out: We’ll never put ourselves back into a work environment that does not appreciate our creativity
