Does equestrian tumblr still exist? Either way here is my biannual post to tell everyone I'm still alive and I'm back riding again!! A 4 year break was enough... Not riding as much as I used to but I'm trying to get down to the farm two or three times a week and looking at getting some jumping lessons soon.

On the subject of equestrian tumblr, can someone pls give me some good blogs to follow?? Also are we still arguing about if you can wear tank tops to ride in, are people still being called bobos, and is there any hot drama plz or is that too 2013??

Long time no see again... Just here to say I've had this wonderful boy 10 whole years. What an honour it is to have known a horse for that long.

I think I'll be a making a near permanent change to bitless after the safety of it was at last proven today after a plastic chair blew over next to the ménage and caused a spook - there was only a small, well controlled bolt 😂

P.s I am riding again!!! Well I will definitely be trying to make it a regular thing. I'm also not sure if the Tumblr horse community even exists anymore or if I'm just talking to the void

Oh woooooow I haven’t been on tumblr in years. My dad died last week, and so I’ve been off work organising things, but also sat around with nothing to do as I’ve also injured my knee (Fun week, I know). So randomly thought I’d log in to my old tumblr for some reason. 

Bellini is good, he is 18 years old now!!!!! I’ve had him since he was 8, and I was 13, and I’m 23 now. I start this blog when I was 14 maybe?? I don’t ride really anymore, but still love going to see him. My mum mainly looks after him, and I like to come down sometimes and brush him, wash those socks and trim his mane 

Also kinda sad to see how many of my favourite people’s blogs on here are inactive and have been taken over by porn bots.... I really am old now.

No one probably follows this blog anymore but regardless, after my first ride in 5 months I’ve come back to announce neon rules boring drools kiss my fluorescent ass

So, I’ve finally decided, after 8 wonderful years to give up riding indefinitely. 

It’s been a long time coming. I started uni, and have had the most amazing time joining the tennis society and taking up athletics. I started pole dancing a year ago, and I’ve become addicted to becoming more graceful and flexible. 

I’ve got so many wonderful things and people in my life, and Bellini has always been part of that, but over the past few months I haven’t been spending a lot of time with him, he’s now on summer turnout and I went to bring him in the other day and he wouldn’t come, not really bothered and understanding he wanted to get all the summer grass he could I left him, went down two days later and tried again. I managed to get the headcollar on him and he dragged me all the way from the bottom of the field to the top, absolutely no consideration for the fact he was dragging me at a flat out gallop. I had to let go and I grazed and bruised the entire right side of my body. It’s my own fault, he need a massive amount of stimulation and attention and I havent been able to give him that. And it has made me realised I think I’ve fallen out of touch with the horse world, but I’m not really that bothered.

I won’t sell Bellini, and I’ll probably still play polo now and then but i’ve decided to turn bellini away, at least for the summer. I’m kinda sad about it, but I think it’s what I need to do and probably what I want to do deep down, it’s just horses have been a part of my life for so long it’s strange. 

So seeing as this is an equestrian blog, I won’t be actively hardly at all anymore! Can you believe I’ve had this blog a whole 7 years?! Thank you all so much to everyone who has followed me over the years!! I’m keeping my blog, cause the 2, 900 followers i’ve got kinda goes to my head... ;)
