At GIF Interaction Fest, I displayed publicly for the first time my collection of animated portraits of members of FASHION WITCH CLUB, a Seattle-based online fashion group. With each subject, we met up and discussed what they felt made them a witch. We then worked together to capture that in a small animation. The result was a series of portraits that allowed the subjects to define the label “witch” for themselves.

Though originally released in hi-res, the portraits been scaled down to fit Tumblr’s file size constraints.

She's whiny, she's a coward, she cries a lot, she's lazy, she's a glutton--but she always puts her friend's first and does her best and tries really hard to save the day. Love. It.
