Jason is introduced to the loveable Fatson plush and has a very different interaction that the reader expects

“WHAT IS THAT?” Jason asked as he walked into his shared apartment with you to see his girlfriend tightly holding a chubby plushie version of him.

“Oh this? It’s called a Fatson plush, I found it in the mail box earlier addressed to you.” You explained giving him a sweet smile.

“Isn’t it just the cutest thing you’ve seen?”

“Not really I think it’s offensive, who could have sent this to me?” Jason grumbled while he snatched the plush from her to look at closer trying to see if he could figure out it’s origins.

“Come on Jay, it’s an adorable little plush it won’t hurt you.” You giggled watching your big beefy boyfriend examined the stuffy with distaste in his gaze.

“You can’t possibly know that for sure, it could have a secret compartment hidden in it’s rolls!”

“And hey you didn’t answer my previous question where did it come from?”

“Would you believe me if I said there wasn’t a return address on the package?” You shrugged as you handed him the box the plushie came in.

“Sweetheart, what have I told you about getting my mystery mail? Don’t you remember what happened last time?” Jason scolded in that soft tone that he always used with you.

“I used my x-ray vision this time to check the package and it’s harmless, Jay. I swear I learned my lesson, I never wanna see another severed finger in my lifetime.”

“Huh, well I’m still suspicious of it. I’m going to get Tim to examine this thing for me in the morning.” Jason replied abandoning the plush on the countertop in favor of picking you up in his arms and didn’t let go even after you were tucked tightly in his arms sound asleep against him.

AN: I don’t know if this idea has been done before but it just came to me a hour or so ago and I wanted to share, can’t wait to start writing part two! Hope you enjoyed!

Another Headcannon that’s been stuck in my head!

Jason Todd is a clingy partner.

Not that you ever would have guessed so with the way he normally presents himself as a cold detached vigilante that seems to annoyed by even the smallest human interaction.

Or with the way the other bats describe him as the angry robin.

But in reality with you he was just a big cuddle bug that couldn’t stand not having some body part wrapped around your body at all times.

That man was down so bad for you that if he had to leave Gotham for a mission, he was calling you any chance he could get just to hear your voice, it didn’t matter to him how mundane the conversation topic was, he would listen to your voice like it was part of his salvation.
