It’s not rare these days for new social networking sites to explode with an expensive bang, before whimpering away into nothing but a series of abandoned profiles within two shakes of a facebook update... But the Huffington Post at least believe Tsu could be different. Promising to reward users for promotion and content, it’s an interesting idea - though I’m pretty sure we’ve heard it all before. This article is certainly worth a gander though.

It may not be clever, but it sure as hell is BIG! So fair play to Disney for flying an army of stormtroopers in to line up on the Great Wall of China, a landmark that it is said can be seen from space (maybe if you look really carefully).

The 500 figures stood in motionless formation on the steps, as giant billboards flashed with the message “The Force Awakens” in Chinese, whilst happy fans waved lightsabres. Well, when your film is going to gross more money than you could imagine, scale is no problem really, right? AWESOME!

When you hit it, The Switch dims the lights, puts on your phone's Do Not Disturb feature and turns on Netflix ready for endless TV.

We’re loving all the great stuff that went on at the London Design Festival:

Dazzle Ship London: The stunning wrapped HMS President by Tobias Rehberger - a take on the striking ‘dazzle’ patterns in which First World War ships were painted, reminding visitors of the crucial role ships played in the country’s wartime survival.

Barnaby Barford: The Tower of Babel. An imposing six-metre high installation  at the V&A, The Tower of Babel comprises 3000 bone china façades, each depicting a different London shop photographed by the artist. At its base the shops are derelict, while at its pinnacle, London’s exclusive boutiques and galleries.

Curiosity Cloud, explored the transience of nature and the Art Nouveau movement.

A Bullet From A Shooting Star: Project with Alex Chinneck in the Greenwich Peninsula where Knight Dragon is currently developing a new district for London with 15,000 new homes.

A Bullet from a Shooting Star takes the form of a regular electricity pylon but given the structural feat it is performing, the design is far from conventional.

Bit of an indulgent one for Star Wars fans this, but is this not the coolest table you’ve ever seen? It’s the Falcon Asteroid Chase, a coffee table which uses a Millenium Falcon and a TIE Fighter toy to recreate that epic chase across an asteroid field between the two spacecrafts... Pizza Hut has created the Blockbuster Box!

The pizza box comes with a ready to remove hole in its side, and the stand to keep the pizza from being crushed includes a lens and doubles as a smartphone stand. Patrons can also scan the side of their box in order to unlock exclusive films you can play while enjoying your freshly delivered pizza

Ikea is running virtual weddings for couples, who use their laptop’s webcam to be pasted into a ceremony attended by virtual cut-outs of their friends.

Facebook is using The London Eye to show how people in the UK have been engaging with the election so far. The London Eye will show an updated result every night at 9.30PM until the election day.
