Seeing how folks react to unhoused people when you've been unhoused is so interesting. Oh, is that person living on the street being "rude"? Hm. I wonder why the person who hasn't been able to eat or shower or lay their head down on anything other than concrete isn't being very nice. I miss being known, I miss being understood and seen. I think a big part of it is who is close to me in this season of life. Was I ever actually understood or was it a veil on me that I loved more? I want to be known, be observed, be bewildered by, celebrated, curious about. I want to be entirely me and have someone be my favorite witness, disciple of it. i know its out there, because i am here and this is how i feel.
