Day 17. 432 days left. Only about a month until we're in the 300s! cute thistle side profile from this anime-only scene where he snaps at falin for trying to eat a live walking mushroom. look at his cute little underbite. Hm...It isn't as prominent in the anime as it is in the manga.

Squishy elf being apprehended (and his dislocated shoulder I believe… ouch). I love how Thistle’s reaction to scary situations is usually rage. His way of showing fear, anxiety and stress is often through anger and that is great. I like that. Good to see in a character

Thistle and his special white boy yaad. I love a thistle striking fear into the hearts of people. He is being so ominous. Thistle you little weirdo why are you holding your grand-nephew-not-grand-nephew’s neck and whispering into his ears? He has to do it for the intimidation points I reckon

Also I wonder — is he tying like a knot with his hair or is he using a hair band? Hm…

I love the loop at the end of his hair.

It really fits his character; it’s a protective hairstyle for curly/wavy hair so it shows his dedication for caring for his hair, and as an extension his craft of magic and then also his protective nature in general… and then it’s enlarged so it resembles a noose, showing how he executes people and his own doom. He had that noose hair when he was eaten...

His scowl… his skinny dingly dangly legs. I want to pick him up and shake him around. Jingle jangle. The streaks on the wall matching his foul mood. It is so perfect. He is so cute. Elf captured

I love his intense stare and his ominous aura in this scene and the obsessive way he spoke about Delgal. It really got me invested in his character and this is when the hyperfixation really kicked in. He is such a well written antagonist.
