Fuerte - Day 5

I walk the seaside promenade and take my breakfast at the Italian Cafe „that’s amore“ and booked a cruise trip 🚢 to Los Lobos in the agency located on the other side of the street.

After returning home I put my stuff together and call back my boss and take off to the port. At the port I check in and the small water-taxi brings me and 10 other guests to the small island „Los Lobos“. I lie in the sun ☀️ at a nice beach 🏖 and return early at 13/00 to Corralejo where I find a table at my desired Fish restaurant: I take a paella 🥘 and some cold pulpo. As desert I take an ice cream 🍨 some meters away from the fish 🎣 restaurant .

I lie on the beach 🏖 of Corralejo where Andrea spent last year most of her time and ask for a SUP, which I plan to rent tomorrow…

At 16:00 I am back at home, relax, read (finish my book „Das Leben ist zu kurz für später“ https://www.m-vg.de/mediafiles/Leseprobe/9783868829167.pdf ) and cook a pasta.

I am very tired and already shortly fell asleep 💤 but start through to got out on Halloween 🎃: and indeed. At 23:45 the bars in the center are overcrowded!!!

At 02:00 I return and sleep 😴

Fuerte - Day 4

I do it: I go swimming 🏊 in the sea 🌊

at 8 a.m. when the whole beach is still empty and no one else is there than me. Again blue sky and sunshine ☀️ and today no wind is blowing that gives the perfect precondition for a bath in the sea 🌊. What a perfect moment ☝️

Then I take breakfast at home with the young German couple who arrived the day before (they are doing s surf class for one week🏄‍♀️) and I check-out at my accommodation to move to the next accommodation - an own apartment next to the port. Until noon when I can check in I go shopping 🛍. And really: I am patient and without clear target 🎯 and find two perfect surf shorts, for which I am searching already two or three years!! What a perfect moment ☝️

Then I take a barracito at an Italian Café and checked in: how nice 👍🏻

To spend the day outside I drive to the dunes again - or to be more precise: to the grandes plages. When I arrive it rains 🌧 a bit, but stopps soon. I make a nice walk on the grandes plages beach 🏖 and feel like at the Caribbean sea 🌊. What a perfect moment ☝️

After all this perfect moments I return, buy some food, cook a meal and eat it on my balcony, go for a walk in my new quarter, visit a surf shop, take a coffee when the rain 🌧 starts again, but food again and enjoy a calm evening in my new accommodation whit reading 📖, writing these lines and listening to relaxed electronic music 🎶 from SoundCloud (schön im Wald https://soundcloud.com/schoenimwald_music/schon-im-wald-panama-open-air-festival-2018-katermukke-stage).

Final thoughts for this day: Corralejo is really a very surf enthusiastic place! I still do not know if all these surf sport is something for me. But: I like the mood, that’s for sure.

3. do a 1-2 hours Stand up paddling session

4. do body Board Session 4 hours

Fuerte Day 3

I wake up early and I go outside to go into the sea - but just to the level of the knees. What a wonderful morning: nice atmosphere, the 3 guys paddling their SUP.

then I go for a breakfast outside and find “That’s amore” an Italian Café with so beautiful women, sunshine ☀️, good food and drinks (cereal bread, chocolate croissant 🥐 and illy cappuccino). It seems that all the Italian guys of Corralejo take their breakfast in this place.

After breakfast 🥞 I walk on the beach 🏖 along the seaside until I reach the dunes - then I return and lie on the beach 🏖 in front of my accommodation. At noon I walk for a seafood lunch to the port, but no tables are available. I walk around and don’t know where to go and what to do…I end up at the Italian restaurant at the beach 🏖

After lunch at 3 o’ clock I take the car 🚗 and drive to the dunes to observe the kite-surfers. And again: I am totally fascinated by the kites which are all flying around in the dunes, the sunshine in the sand, the clouds ☁️, the sea 🌊 - I would say, the atmosphere in total 🙃

After returning from the dunes I buy some food at the next supermercado and checked our accommodation from the previous stay on Fuerte: the house is still there, but the owner seems to have changed…

When I return to my accommodation it is already dark outside and I decide to read in the living room. Later I go out for a walk, a pizza / focaccia (mmh, these Italians: one peace with special cheese 🧀 and the other piece with mortadella and truffles) and a beer 🍺 (when it starts raining 🌧). Before midnight I fall asleep 😴

Fuerte Day 2 - El Cotillou

The morning started stormy and cloudy. I walk around in search for a breakfast. I bought an orange 🍊 juice in the supermarket and drank it in the beach 🏖

I ate an omelette baguette 🥖 and went home 🏡 and then for 1,5 hours in the beach 🏖.

At noon I drive to El Cotillo. I walked around and take a look around:

see a “Bo Derek”like scene on the beach 🏖

had a Perfectly prepared solomillo de vacuno Rinderfilet on a roof top restaurant with nice view to the old El Cotillo port

watch El Classico in a sports bar: see Bo Derek again and see a great match Barca - Real 5:1

Fuerte day 1: very nice

I breakfast with the two guys of my Appartement and step out of our house in the beach 🏖:

Blue sky

sun ☀️ is shining

3 guys doing SUP in the sun rising

2 of them are girls coming directly to our house to store their board there and talking to me / is how wonderful that experience was

I walk all the beachside along and feel good.

I spend two hours on the beach 🏖 and the afternoon I drive to the dunes….mmmh
