so, i like to think that im a fairly socially competent person.  i can people well, do the interaction thing adequately. i do acknowledge, however, that i fuck up in a spectacular fashion.  today, i was on the phone to a friend and i was trying to say the word “shy.” i couldnt say it though, all i could say instead was “chai.”  my brain had a total fart, and i kept trying to say “shy” but could only say “chai.”

omg, theyre both soooooo cute.  my best friends dog is called cooper, and my parents dog is harry.  im so excited, i should be meeting them both sometime next year, and im so keen :D:D:D:D:D

i dont know if one of my flatmates, flatmate a, understands how cold i get.  im from the tropics, im used to it getting to 30 Celsius every day.  i now live in a place where it doesnt get above 20 Celsius for about 6 months a year.  flatmate e sorta gets it, espesh when she flips it around to the heat, but i dunno about flatmate a.  he’s from a more temperate place than flatmate e or i, so i dunno if he understands.  understands that there are some days where i actually struggle to get out of bed because its so cold.  i used to shower in the mornings, but i had to stop because getting out in winter was such a chore that it would actually make me late to work. understand that the cold would make my shoulders sore because id tense them so much when i start shivering, which is often.  i dont think he, flatmate a understands that i associate the cold with sadness and depression.  i love the place where i live, i truly do.  but i dont know if flatmate a understands the impact the cold has on me when he turns my heater off, when im out and without telling me, to save power.

omg, so the other night, flatmate a came home from a party rly drunk.  and just as he walked through the door, literally at the same time, flatmate e went into the bathroom they share.  flatmate a then yelled loudly about how he needed to pee, and sat down in front of one of our cupboards complaining about how he needed to pee but flatmate e was in there.  he then asked for a glass of wine, and then said the wine tasted so good that we needed to take a selfie with the wine.  then when flatmate e came out of the bathroom, he yelled about how she was taking so long, and then went and pissed.  e and i just stared at each other laughing.  then he went to bed with his laptop, a glass of wine, and m&ms.  i came out of my room later, and flatmate a stuck his head out his door and told me about how his bed was really bouncy, and showed me how he was jumping on his bed which had his laptop on it.  drunk flatmates are the funniest shit ive ever seen, is2g

i was watching the news the other day, and there was a report broadcast about the burkini ban in france.  omg, it nearly made me late to work, and when i got to work, my manager and i had a 20ish minute rage about the ban.  i can see where france is coming from, theyve had a pretty shit time. but in banning the burkini, they are violating their democratic values.  forcing women to undress is abhorrent, its equally as bad as forcing them to cover.
