Why abortion is unconstitutional.
Ben Franklin once said, "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for dinner." In case you don't understand, he's saying democracy sucks because if you're in the minority, people can do whatever they want to you. That is exactly why America isn't a democracy. It's a constitutional republic. A constitutional republic is "majority rules on everything EXCEPT the rules that voting doesn't change". This includes the stuff in the constitution and bill of rights. If you've ever looked at the constitution, it says very clearly, "all men are created equal....the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Look at that more closely. Does it say "all born men"? No. It's says "All men created". What does this mean?? When is man's creation? Unless you care to ignore biology, anatomy, or how genes and DNA work, you will say at conception. Because, if you've ever picked up a science textbook, you would know that at conception, a unique human being is created and, yes, alive. While you may speculate that that may not be what the founding fathers intended, you cannot use that as a reason to ignore it, because it is what was written. It's is not to be translated, but followed. The point is, the Constitution itself includes unborn men. It says that all men are created equal, without reference to their race, gender, or age. It also states directly after this that they have the right to life. While the majority may not agree, the majority may vote for abortions, the majority doesn't care about the deaths of the unborn, that doesn't matter. Because we do not have a democracy. Majority does not rule. We have a constitutional republic, which means that unless we vote for an amendment, the rules listed in the constitution must remain so. Until we have an amendment clarifying that all men have the right to life unless they are unborn, abortions are unconstitutional.
