Im 19 so obviously I never saw g2 firsthand but I always had a soft spot for it

The gaudy colors, the robo gore, the rap music, everything about it just screams LOOK AT ME

And out of all the g2 designs there has always been one I've always loved above the rest, sideswipe

This is a bot with style, I really see it as not just "edgy sideswipe" but as a fully arced out version of the character who's battle hardened and got quite a few story's to tell.

Definitely a top ten transformer in my book

Built the smp gunbuster, not exactly the one I wanted (I prefer the transforming anime accurate one) but I desperately needed a gunbuster in my collection.

It's really nice with all the paint but some pieces are super tight, still a ton of fun though

Finally got my iron factory ultra magnus and what a figure, it's really solid and fun to pose and I think I've kinda just forgotten what high quality figures are like since Ive been on my gunpla kick.

The alt mode is the perfect kind of over the top, just gargantuan in person and has lots of weapons to put on (that I can't be bothered to take out rn)

The flip out weapons are so much fun and are genuinely my favorite part of the figure, giving Magnus iron knuckles is sick too.

I love core magnus, he's simple and nice to pose but the wrists are a little too strong and in transformation the hands regularly come off instead of moving with the joint.

Last thing is this tiny Minimus Ambus which while he is great, I don't use his combination with the Magnus armor as I just love core mags better. The Gatling is awesome though

Alright I think that's enough yapping for this figure, waiting on my dx9 ginrai but definitely shutting down on my spending to hopefully get that moderoid dix neuf (whenever I get a date goodsmile)

Its been a while since I've gotten transformer figs since my gunpla obsession has pretty much drowned it out

but last week I went to frank and sons and got a tiny core magnus

This pretty much restarted my obsession but I think I'ma shift to the legends collecting space

So I'ma grab the ultra magnus armor and dx9 ginrai since he's a really underrated character.

Probably gonna clear out my mainline tf collection for more of this
