Goodbye, Accutane!
GUYS. Ā I can officially say that today is my LAST DAY OF ACCUTANE!! Ā At my dermatologist appointment this morning he walked in, said my face looked amazing and told me if I feel comfortable with it, I could be done. Ā I wanted to jump out of my chair and attack his face in the most happy excited way possible. Ā I didnāt but good golly I wanted to.

My daily skin beautifying regime and all things face related.
One of the ladies I work with just told me the other dayĀ that she will be starting Accutane next month and I was so excited to help her get prepared for it. Month #5
Remember in last monthās post I said I was going to ask my dermy if it could be my last month? Yeah. He said no. Haha! Ā He said when he sees even one blemish, he likes to keep going with the treatment for another month.
So here we are. The beginning of month 5. Ā Iām itching to finish this dang treatment but I know that if I see it to the end Iāll have better results. Ā So Iām gonna hang in there!ā¦

Month #3
Itās the end of month three!
I canāt say Iāve been super impressed with the results this month. It hasnāt been getting worse, ( I did have a random mild breakout the other day though. womp. ) but I havenāt noticed a decent improvement either. But I gotta stay posi.
Side effects this month include the regular dryness on my arms and face, chapped lips (per usual), and dry red eyes. Ā A new sideā¦

Update
So itās the beginning of my third month on Accutane. Ā Hopefully Iām half way through at this point. Iām ready to be done yāall. I know itās working, I can see it clearing up my skin and Iām so thankful for it, but Iām ready to be done the monthly drs appointments, tests, verifications, and paying for it every diggity dang month.

Ā Itās interesting to see how far Iāve come because here I am, posting pictures of my makeup-less face, laden with red marks and scars. Ā Just a little observation I noticed today.

Mid-month update

Week 1, 2 and 3
Since I didnāt decide to blog until about the second week into it, I had a lot of catching up to do.
Week 1 I didnāt experience any symptoms of side effects during my first week. And thatās that haha.
Week 2 Side effects that I experienced this week were dry eyes and chapped lips.

Prep work for Accutane
Aight ladies.
Iām a little behind on the posting. sorrysorrysorrysorrysorry.
My first āgo-aroundā with Accutane was pretty much a disaster, symptom-wise. Iām talking dry/flakey skin, chapped lips, dry eyes/blurred vision, joint pain, rectal bleeding with BMs, UTIs. It was awful. Just disastrous. That was the main reason I didnāt want to go back on it.
