might go down as one of the worst weeks of my life?

#shitty things happening consistently all throughout #and then the cat dying to top it all off #i really will miss it so much it was my favourite of all the stray cats that come around here

the stray cat i was feeding died :(

#i feel so bad for it poor thing #i knew it probably didnt have much of a chance based off how skinny he was when i first saw him #but i thought he was getting healthier im so sad #he loved sleeping in our cats' carrier and when i went to check this morning he was in there #but he was spasming occasionally and he had lost control of his bowels so i knew it was going to happen soon #i just prayed it was quick so he didnt suffer and he was dead half an hour later #im glad it felt safe enough to come sit in the carrier before it died :(#it was the sweetest cat ever and so intelligent #im really going to miss it #think my cats also sensed something was up they were loitering around the room #we'll bury it in the woods maybe they can come look so they can get some closure #i think chubby was good friends with it #thats how i first met it when they were playing together once :(

entire body still in pain bro.

#my hips were hurting sm in the morning.#also my arms and triceps specifically bc i did skull crushers for the first time #i think i cant work out before my long runs anymore it takes too much out of me #also going to have to take like two more rest days...#maybe i can do legs tomorrow but idk #that run yesterday was the first time running that my muscles were the limiting factor not my heart #i could have kept going longer but my legs were too weak #although that does mean that i need to get them stronger if i wsnt to finish the race

#maybe it'll help idk #did upper body and also have an 8 mile run to do #eating cereal now to get more carbs before the run #worried about the whole fueling aspect of running bc i think the long runs are getting long enough for it to be an issue #i really dont want to use gels tho they look nasty #maybe i can take some sweets with me idk

had to take a nap in the middle of the day..

#never do that and it felt so weird #i think it helped though. probably slept like 2 hours #back feeling a bit better after it too #probably didnt sleep enough to recover properly last night

and my lower back is hurting.

#increased the weight on hipthrust and rdl yesterday but feel nothing in my glutes #so assuming i just fucked up my lower back instead of using the muscles i was supposed to #genuinely thought the form was okay too.#really cba to work out today bc im in such a bad mood #maybe i can do some stretching or yoga though

#i think i should make an actual plan instead of just doing whatever random exercise i feel like #definitely not hitting every muscle group twice a week or whatever it is youre supposed to do..#maybe having more structure would help #idk tho like i dont even want to dedicate so much energy to the gym bc i should be more focused on running rn.#i know its important but i actually hate it so much i'll never understand people who prefer lifting to running
