Apparently Knives is getting "too old" for story time :/ so now I have to spend it with Sir Rufflington the Third, which usually changes his mind right quick.

One thing I don't miss about my crew is having to deal with Jenkins always trying to correct me concerning my own work. "Those ball bearings won't hold something that exceeds their weight limit". Okay. You have a widows peak if we're stating the obvious.

Yeah! They didn't have limbs yet, or hair, or most developed major organs. After a few months they gradually grew them, and a suitable "skin", but it was more grey than flesh-colored. I can't really describe the toddler phase...but they did like to run on all fours until I taught them how to walk upright.

Around five months, their skin turned a lighter complexion similar to human flesh, and hair seemingly overnight. Looked more like how they do now. I don't think I've ever cut off so much hair, but they were insistent they wanted it to be short, so I couldn't say no.

You know, I do have some baby pictures laying around, but the twins looked nothing like human babies when they were first born. I'd say it was closer to like...see-through jelly globs? Which were still cute, don't get me wrong, I just don't think most people would think the same.

And I'm not going to argue with a bunch of strangers about my babies, because I think it would result in a downward spiral where I would have to--not kill one of you--but maybe put you in a dark hole in the ground for a few years so you could think about what you did wrong.

I actually forgot my own birthday, which is pretty funny on it's own, but it's even funnier that I got reminded of it because the kids threw me a surprise party and scared the living hell out of me.

Aaaah, I haven't worn clothes like that in I don't know how long. Nothing but jumpsuits and travel clothes for me.
