âIf you tell the truth, you donât have to remember anything.â
â Mark Twain (via naturaekos)
âThe servant who buried his masterâs money rather than investing it like the other servants spared himself the embarrassment of a failed business venture. But his cowardice earned him the strongest rebuke: his master called him wicked, lazy, and worthless (Matt. 25:24-30). You donât want to be the servant who does nothing out of fear of messing up. You may well make a mistake through misguided action, but youâre guaranteed to make a mistake by doing nothing.â
âFrancis Chan, You and Me Forever
Please reblog, this is so important.

Is this foreal?
Yes itâs a real service. I do volunteer work for a rape crisis support service in my city and texting is one of the features we provide as well. But just to boost its credibility, I tried it myself:

âSome people think God does not like to be troubled with our constant coming and asking. The way to trouble God is not to come at all.â

The most amazing book can sit on the shelf for years before youâre ready to read it. Sometimes, you have to be in the right place.
âLean on Jesus. Be honest. Be vulnerable. He knows. He sees. He heals.â

âMy therapist taught me to interrupt my anxious thinking with thoughts like: âWhat if things work outâ and âWhat if all my hard work pays off?â So, Iâm passing that onto you wherever you are, whatever youâre leaving, or whomever youâre becoming.â
â Sinclair P. Ceasar III (via pearlkillers)
God always does in me whatâs best for the Kingdom. So if I donât receive something Iâve really wanted, or thought would be for me, Iâm training myself to say, âthat must not have been in heaven for me.â Meaning: if I pray, âon earth as it is in heavenâ and something doesnât work out for me on earth, then itâs not in heaven. And if itâs not in heaven, then I donât want it. No matter how much sense it makes on paper or in my mind. Always for Glory. Any friendship, any future relationship, any job, any circumstance. I believe that the things that have worked out for me have worked out because they give Glory to God. I donât want to partner with anything or anyone that doesnât advance the Kingdom.
âThatâs the excitement in obedience, finding out later what God had in mind.â

âMay I love the Giver more than the gift.â
â Augustine
having a relationship with God and just worshiping him is so relaxing, it really does put your mind at ease and soothes your energy. I feel such at peace after i pray, even if the connection isnt visible he knows exactly what i go through and he is how i cope with things.
