Noctifa Headcanon:

They both love all kinds of aquatic activities, from spending the day lounging on the beach to hopping on the Royal Vessel and setting sail offshore. And one of the things they found they enjoy most is renting a jet ski and going from place to place, sometimes discovering islands, other times going diving, and other times just stopping to take in the beauty of the ocean... and many others spend an indefinite amount of time just making out in that intimate privacy 🤍

𝑵𝒐𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒂 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒄𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏 ⋆˚꩜｡

This is a HC I've had for years and that's that Noctis's eyes turn red on certain occasions. When he feels an uncontrollable rage and when lust overwhelms him.

This is based on a concept from Versus that was scrapped in XV (and I hate they did that).

In XV, his eyes take on a very vibrant rose shade but this only happens when he summons the Astrals, uses the Armiger or harnesses the ring's power

In that Versus concept, his eyes would turn an intense red and this could also be caused by emotional changes, more specifically, anger

Still, 30 yo Noctis's eyes turn red and his latest figures and artwork have also leaned toward this color and I like it way more than that rose shade

I've strayed a bit from the HC, but I wanted to explain its origins.

So, in my AU, Noctis's eyes turn red whenever he loses his temper but also when his feelings for Tifa consume him and he can't control them

This was a big problem for him during his adolescence bc it wouldn't let him hide his true feelings for her, sometimes forcing him to wear contacts when in public

But in private, his eyes turn that shade of red and it is that color that Tifa Lockhart associates with the most intense pleasure 🤭
